To suggest that there are aliens is mind blowing but to also suggest, that that becomes an avenue to deny the existence of the one God—Consciousness—might be considered as an utter nonsense. There is Cosmic Consciousness always. There are many gods but there is one Consciousness. Whether you can differentiate the very many gods and the only ONE Consciousness is what differentiates you and sets you apart from a follower—a religionist, an atheist or a theist of a different kind. Moses could no longer identify which God that was given the messages because they were doing a doublespeak. There were simply too many Gods. What follows is a cautious search for answers. The answers seem to create more confusions. Should the word God be redefined? The Old Testament simply did not propagate the concept of monotheism even though we are taught to accept and profess it was/is so. In fact, Egypt has the record at a practice for monotheism through Akhenaten. Though religious people today would have dismissed Akhenaten as a worshipper of the Sun, they failed to acknowledge that the Sun God representation is an allegory. The sun, moon, the sea, snakes, etc., are just symbols depicting a God. There must be tension here and it is obvious if you think about it. Polytheism is simply and without qualification the belief in more than one God. Thus, on the most common way of understanding polytheism, Christian belief will not be monotheism, but clearly polytheism. Read it all here.

This novel is an account of the Spanish invasion and conquest of Peru, and of the native struggle, led by Manco Inca Yupanqui, to defeat it. It traces the history of those years from the death of the last great Inca, Huayna Capac, in 1528, probably from smallpox, which the Spanish brought to South America, to the death of the last Conquistadore, Don Gonzalo Pizarro, who was executed for treason in 1548, following his abortive rebellion against Spanish imperial rule. The story is told by an Inca nobleman, Huayna Rimac, who was Curaca (Governor) of Machu Picchu and, later, of Vilcabamba, as well as being the age mate, confidant, friend, and aide de camp of Manco Inca. The book does not try to present a balanced and fair account of the conflict between the two empires. It is an Inca account of the conflict. Huayna Rimac, however, as time went on, began to appreciate the strengths of the Spanish, as well as their weaknesses. Eventually, he was, reluctantly, forced to give them credit for their achievements. The book clearly shows the differences between the two sides in a clash, which was as much cultural as military. The two empires could not coexist side by side. One culture would have to yield to the other. The book makes it clear that the decisive factor in the struggle was technological. The Incas, unfortunately, did not have access to iron, whereas the Spanish did. Spanish steel was some of the best in Europe in that period, whereas the Incas used bronze. The result was inevitable. However, the book makes it clear that Inca courage and determination came agonizingly close to overcoming superior Spanish technology. At the end Huayna Rimac is left to ponder his own future in a Peru dominated by Spanish power.

He watched the black glow of what used to be the sun coming up and felt at peace. He was not overwhelmed with the challenge at hand. He wondered if a god could learn. Could a god learn to change? As he thought these very thoughts, the gods, honored ones, even the demons, were entering the sanctuary. Things would never be the same after this day and week that would follow. It would challenge every rule in the game of life. Many of the gods had never set eyes on the other. What would transpire while they were together could be either inspiring or detrimental to the future of mankind. The Vajra building had been the chosen venue for the gathering because of its historical inspiration. Many wonderful things had happened at the Vajra, and Satya knew its symbolic meaning. He put on his white linen clothes and opened the door to his room. The council received him and escorted him to the elevator. They ascended to the top floor, the Highest High to the luxury view of the Vajra building. He thought back and remembered the news when the first black American president was announced from the Vajra building. It wasn't long after that when the first woman president was elected as well. Third World countries filled with their starving were freed from scarcity and taught to help themselves from this building. But unfortunately the teachings failed later because they were not applied with compassion for all. Men and women who sat in the very room to which he was headed and strategically planned a way to help the world's people had brought down dictators. For those reasons and so many more it could have been said, this is why the Vajra was chosen. But that would have been vanity and also incorrect. It had been chosen for one reason only, for what the Vajra meant and stood for. The word Vajra had a double meaning. It meant Thunderbolt and Diamond. The word Vajra connoted immutability and something unbreakable. As he anticipated that what would be discussed during the week would shake their foundations like thunder, the diamond beneath would be revealed, the answer would be immutable and it would not break the gods. They would not be broken if their spirit of goodness was as strong as he believed it to be. Satya had faith, he believed and he was ready. The men walked him down the burgundy red corridor, six on either side of him, and when they got to the Double Black Doors they stopped. One of the twelve turned to him and handed him a scroll. He opened it and looked down to see what it contained.
