Bount Reiniger zog seine Automatic, gab sie Kate Sneller zum Halten und setzte die Verfolgung fort. Der Achtzylindermotor katapultierte den Mercedes voran. Bount holte auf. Sirenengeheul von Streifenwagen ertönte. Doch noch waren die Cops zu weit abgeschlagen, um eingreifen zu können.
