An examination of the correlation between the Test of Nonverbal Intelligence (TONI-4) and, the most widely used measure of general intellectual functioning, the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale- IV (WAIS-IV) has not yet been investigated prior to this study. This study examined retrospective data that would allow for interpretive statistical analyses between the two measures of intelligence. Specifically examining the correlation between the TONI-4 index score and the WAIS-IV FSIQ, the TONI-4 index score and TONI-4 index score and the Matrix Reasoning subtest of the WAIS-IV. Further examination was conducted for informational purposes such as the correlation between the TONI-4 and the four indices (Verbal Comprehension Index, Perceptual Reasoning Index, Working Memory Index and Processing Speed Index) of the WAIS-IV.
