O livro "Três vidas de um poeta só" tem a pretensão de ser mais do que apenas uma coletânea de poesia, como na maioria dos casos clássicos, ele adentra o mundo da narrativa construída texto a texto, de maneira subjetiva deixa evidente na mente do leitor a co-relação entre as diferentes poesias, crônicas e contos. A temática se desenvolve no decorrer de três capítulos chamados de realidades, pois é desse assunto que o autor Adailson Silva fala, do mundo paralelo em que vive quando se dispõe a escrever sobre as vidas imaginárias ou reais. Os textos são direcionados por uma introdução de cada capítulo, onde o leitor poderá saber do que se tratam os versos seguintes, em qual realidade do autor ele está entrando. Amor, ódio, angústia, alegria, detalhes individuais, amplas generalizações, o livro percorre entre seus textos um extremo ao outro e traz sentimentos fortes, expressos em palavras versificadas ou em prosa. O poeta não deixa evidente o que foi vivido, nem o que foi inventado, ou tampouco o que foi imaginado e desejado no fundo do seu coração. Três vidas de um poeta só é uma obra que pode ser lida de maneira despretensiosa, sem busca de significados mais profundos, texto por texto, como se fizessem parte de universos distintos. Mas também pode ser lida dentro de uma construção narrativa e sentimental, vendo o elo entre todas as poesias: o autor. Autor que recorre à memórias quando não sabe o que fazer ou escrever, essa memória sentimental é expressada pelos versos da introdução do livro e resume bem o sentimento envolvido. "A lembrança do que já senti me faz reviver uma realidade que não existe mais. Não sei bem como isso funciona, mas nas vezes que não escrevi o que eu passei, sofri cada palavra do que escrevi. Isso me fez ver uma nova possibilidade."

Santiago Segura Munguía falleció en febrero de 2014, sin haber podido concluir esta obra a la que dedicó sus últimos cuatro años. Su voz, recia y clara, está en estas páginas que se interrumpen en la letra «S», dejando sin terminar este tesoro lingüístico.
