Those who feel the urgent importance of the subjects handled, will pardon the imperfections of the style; and those who prefer to have an opportunity of writing smart criticisms upon the Lecturer, will find plenty of scope for that kind of labour. All I ask is, a perusal of the arguments and illustrations, without the use of Church or Dissent, Intrusion, or Non-Intrusion spectacles; and, if this be possible, as I hope it is, even "The Watchman" may yet see "some good thing" in them, on a second perusal.
