Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Erwachsenenbildung, Note: bestanden, Universität Bielefeld, Veranstaltung: Bildung zwischen Selbstsorge und Selbstmanagement, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Begriffe „Selbstsorge“ und „Selbstmanagement“ sind mittlerweile in den Alltagsgebrauch übergegangen. Auch ich kannte diese Begriffe vom „Hören-Sagen“, habe aber erst durch das Seminar „Bildung zwischen Selbstsorge und Selbstmanagement“ gelernt, was wirklich dahinter steckt. Wie durch den Wortanfang „Selbst-“ schon offensichtlich wird, geht es darum, sich mit der eigenen Person auseinanderzusetzen. In Erinnerung an die erste Seminarsitzung kommen mir dazu Begriffe wie „Freundschaft mit sich selbst“, „Selbstablehnung“, „Selbstkontrolle“, „Selbsterkenntnis“, „Selbsteinschätzung“ oder „Ziele erreichen“ in den Kopf. Während wir selbst einige Strategien kennen gelernt und teilweise ausprobiert haben, habe ich gemerkt, wie schwer es tatsächlich ist, Selbstsorge und Selbstmanagement bewusst umzusetzen. An diesem Punkt kam für mich die Frage auf: Wenn diese Aufgabe schon für eine „normale Studentin“ Schwierigkeiten mit sich bringt, welche Probleme hat dann erst jemand, der sich in einer viel heikleren Situation befindet? Bei der Recherche möglicher „Problemgruppen“ entschied ich mich für Jugendliche, die ein auffälliges Verhalten zeigen und deshalb Unterstützung durch eine Trainingsmaßnahme brauchen. Als Interventionsgrund sehe ich dabei sowohl das Verhaltensproblem als auch das Jugendlich-Sein an sich an, da die Pubertät viele Jugendliche in eine Sinnkrise stürzt. Die Anbindung an Selbstsorge und Selbstmanagement liegt für mich darin, dass diesen Jugendlichen Hilfestellung geboten wird, sich mit der eigenen Persönlichkeit und Identität auseinanderzusetzen und gezielt Strategien zu entwickeln, wie sie ihren Alltag besser managen können. Dazu gehört auch, dass sie lernen, sich selbst anzunehmen und die Herausforderungen des Alltags zu meistern.
