Coaching has become a new religion over the years and a lot of branches and special types of coaching appear nowadays, producing more and more complexion and digression in a world full of details but lacking the general view needed in order to orient oneself in the unknown grounds of the everyday life. In a world full of complexity and with a growing number of disciplines, it is high time we started shifting the point of view: from disciplinary coaching to transdisciplinary coaching: which is at the same time between disciplines, across them and beyond them. The Tarot cards - in this approach - are used just like a psychological tool - like any other coaching tool available on the market, for both the coaching specialist and the mere beginner. What lies beyond the earthly world? Is there an invisible, ethereal realm inhabited by creatures that cannot be perceived by the human eye? What if fairy tales, myths, and lore hid the secret code needed to access our deepest human resources? And what if, by approaching the Faerie Dimension without prejudice or fear, we could find the secret key to reveal the treasures we are still unaware of, removing from our path any obstacle, overcoming any conflict, and fulfilling every desire? The Faerie Code is a guide and contains seven original tales that provide access to the Faerie Dimension and its gifts. It discloses information from a realm that is invisible to most humans but sometimes makes itself known. Whether this dimension belongs to the inspiration coming from the realms of consciousness, or rather, to a subtle dimension where the faeries are supposed to live, it does not matter much . . . because on the Faerie Path, everything is possible.

Gurdjieff has used more than one system of human typology and in this book we will try to study the main ones in order to better understand ourselves and the world in which we live in. This book explains, for the first time ever, the 28 human types mentioned by Gurdjieff in his books, The Herald of Coming Good and Beelzebub's Tales. After more twenty years of searching through different ways and types of exercises and more than ten years in one of the groups from the Gurdjieff Institute, I am now feeling the need to offer back to the world a little part of the knowledge that helped me to be a better human being today. While this book does not contain all the information that Gurdjieff brought, it gives a fair point of departure in an adventure that will bring more being in your life. Everyday Aesthetics written by Katya Mandoki and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-04-22 with Philosophy categories.

Katya Mandoki advances in this book the thesis that it is not only possible but crucial to open up the field of aesthetics (traditionally confined to the study of art and beauty) toward the richness and complexity of everyday life. She argues that in every process of communication, whether face to face or through the media, fashion, and political propaganda, there is always an excess beyond the informative and functional value of a message. This excess is the aesthetic. Following Huizinga's view of play as an ingredient of any social environment, Mandoki explores how various cultural practices are in fact forms of playing since, for the author, aesthetics and play are Siamese twins. One of the unique contributions of this book is the elaboration and application of a semiotic model for the simultaneous analysis of social interactions in the four registers, namely visual, auditory, verbal and body language, to detect the aesthetic strategies deployed in specific situations. She argues that since the presentation of the self is targeted towards participants' sensibilities, aesthetics plays a key role in these modes of exchange. Consequently, the author updates important debates in this field to clear the way for a socio-aesthetic inquiry through contexts such as the family, school, medical, artistic or religious traditions from which social identities emerge.

In Grading Justice: Teacher-Activist Approaches to Assessment, new and seasoned teachers are invited to engage with socially-just approaches of assessment, including practices aimed at resisting and undoing grading and assessment altogether, to create more democratic grading practices and policies, foregrounding the transformative potential of communication within their courses. The contributions in this collection encourage readers to consider not only how educators might assess social justice work in and beyond the classroom, but also to imagine what a social justice approach to grading and assessment would mean for intervening into unjust modes of teaching and learning. Educators wishing to explore critical modes of grading and assessment, grounded in social justice, will find this book a timely and relevant pedagogical guide for their teaching and scholarship.
