Moral social es una exposición del pensamiento caribeño, de la integración latinoamericana de Eugenio María de Hostos, y del fortalecimiento de la moral y la educación como única vía para redimir a los pueblos del Nuevo mundo. Hostos fue un pensador moralista, cuyas ideas se proyectan en sus escritos, que buscan en su esencia, una ética pedagógica de la educación. Moral social fue publicada en 1888. En el prólogo, Hostos explica que solamente por la insistencia de sus discípulos accedió a que se publicara este libro porque «no hay que publicar la moral en libros, sino en obras». La obra está dividida en dos partes. En la primera, el autor presenta las bases teóricas sobre las que se sustentan sus ideas. En la segunda, aplica esas ideas a casos concretos y hace sus sugerencias morales. Según sus ideas, hay una existencia moral muy distinta de la existencia física, que, aunque no sea distinta en esencia, se nos manifiesta de distintos modos. Así Hostos llega a la conclusión de que: «Todo proceder de la razón de menos a más es proceder de menos conciencia a más conciencia, y en vez de hacerse más consciente a medida que se hace más racional, el hombre de nuestra civilización se hace más malo cuanto más conoce el mal.» La figura y los escritos de Hostos resultan particularmente interesantes como expresión de la peculiar situación socio-histórica antillana de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, ya que Hostos se abocó, a través de la teoría y de la acción, a trabajar por la independencia, la reforma educativa y la dignificación de la cultura caribeña, en particular de Puerto Rico, su patria. Su trabajo e ideas han influido en el discurso intelectual de América Latina por más de 125 años, haciendo una tremenda contribución a la identidad, la cultura y el desarrollo político caribeño.

¿Eres feliz? De este mismo modo, empezarás a establecer prioridades en tu propia vida, responsabilizándote de ti mismo y agudizando tu auto-observación para identificar y eliminar de tu interior dichos obstáculos. De eso trata este libro, de motivarte a identificarlos, sugiriéndote técnicas eficaces para removerlos, de tal manera que tu felicidad se exprese clara y nítidamente en el brillo de tus ojos, en tu cara, en tu cuerpo entero y sea manifestada desde el centro de tu corazón hacia todos quienes te rodean.

Mi nombre es Antonio Anteliz Zurita, nací un 5 de Agosto de 1947 en la ciudad Puebla. Cursé mi primaria en la Escuela Motolinia, mi secundaria en el Seminario Salesiano de Don Bosco en Puebla y San Pedro Tlaquepaque Jalisco, mi preparatoria en el Colegio San Sebastián de Aparicio. Estuve 3 años en la Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, cursando la carrera de Ciencias Económicas Administrativas. En 1968 me vine a la ciudad de Chicago. En 1970 comencé a escribir sobre deportes en el semanario más prestigioso de la "Ciudad de Los Vientos", LA RAZA. Posteriormente escribí en los diferentes periódicos y revistas de Chicago, como EL NORTE, EL HERALDO, CHICAGO DEPORTIVO, EL EXTRA, EL TELEGUIA, ETC. Estuve tres años trabajando en la radio LA TREMENDA, en un programa titulado "Hablando de Deportes". Fundé con Jorge Alvarez el primer grupo Teatral de Chicago. Coproduje un cine video de la película titulada "El chorizo del carnicero" y escribí dicho libreto. Hice televisión en Chicago en el programa de Alva Molina en el canal 26. He salido en UNIVISION en el programa de República Deportiva, Despierta América. En TELEMUNDO en Sálvese Quien Pueda. Incursioné en el cine mexicano actuando en 8 cine videos al lado de Mario Almada, Alfonso Zayas, Flaco Guzmán, El Flaco Ibáñez, Edgardo Gazcón, Armando Araiza, César Bono, etc. Tengo un personaje cómico de un monaguillo bien irreverente llamado "Agapito Melorcas" y conjuntamente a mi compañero el sacerdote "El cura melcacho", les hemos abierto a varios comediantes su Show. Tengo alrededor de ocho libros listos para la imprenta. Espero que cuando sepa que ya hay otro libro mío en el mercado, lo compre porque va a ser interesante y diferente.
