La trata de seres humanos es un crimen abominable que tiene como víctimas a personas en todo el mundo que son vulnerables. La afectación a sus derechos fundamentales es tan profunda que impone la adopción de medidas que tiendan a su reparación integral, con especial atención a aspectos vitales que se orienten a lograr su plena recuperación, de acuerdo con sus intereses.El presente libro focaliza en el delito y en la reparación de sus víctimas, para lo cual, desde una perspectiva victimocéntrica, de género, derechos humanos y con enfoque comparado se toman de referencia los países de República Argentina y el Reino de España. Así se desentraña la problemática que vira en torno a la reparación integral a la persona victimizada y se estudian las razones que llevan a estimar que la reparación netamente pecuniaria resulta insuficiente para alcanzarla. De este modo, se postula la eficacia de otras medidas alternativas o complementarias que persiguen la consecución de ese fin, como las de satisfacción, rehabilitación y garantías de no repetición, como recogen los estándares fijados por la Corte IDH y la LO 10/2022, de 6 de septiembre, de garantía integral de la libertad sexual.
