The Earth is the only planet in our solar system that supports life. Los autores, Francesc Font y Nuri Madeo, ambos graduados en Ingeniería Agrícola, están afincados en Menorca (Illes Balears) y su forma de abordar la agricultura combina una larga tradición familiar de trabajo en la tierra con su formación académica y años de autoaprendizaje. que les llevó a introducir con éxito las técnicas regenerativas en varios proyectos en Cataluña, Baleares y otros territorios de Europa. En esta obra, prologada por los especialistas de reconocido prestigio en este ámbito Darren J. Doherty y Joel Salatin, Francesc y Nuri parten del "porqué" de su metodología, para seguir con el "cómo" y posteriormente con el "qué". Tres pilares básicos para la comprensión tanto de razones como de procedimientos. Entre otras muchas técnicas: Aprenderemos cómo eliminar o minimizar el cultivo y manejar las enmiendas orgánicas. Descubriremos que los cultivos de cobertura y el mulching proporcionan una protección natural contra plagas y enfermedades en nuestros cultivos, y que el pastoreo planificado puede ser un gran aliado. Aprenderemos a planificar nuestros cultivos, incluyendo patrones de plantación y sistemas de riego, así como el movimiento de nuestros animales.
