En el presente volumen, Elena Romero, en colaboración con Aitor García Moreno, edita y estudia dos libros judeoespañoles aljamiados titulados Séfer Sipuré noraot (Salónica, 1885) y Séfer Sipuré pelaot (Salónica, 1891). Se trata de sendas compilaciones de cuentos de carácter mágico, mayoritariamente procedentes de fuente hebrea, llevadas a cabo por el traductor y adaptador Yishac ben Abraham Hakohén Perahiá. El Sipuré noraot contiene 7 cuentos, en tanto que el Sipuré pelaot recoge tres relatos. Varios de los cuentos llevan como complemento otros relatos (un total de diez), en su mayoría breves. El libro se completa con un amplio estudio que sirve de Introducción y con los pertinentes Glosario y Bibliografía.
