De los últimos, que podrian ser objeto de otra publicación, si más larga y voluminosa, de menor utilidad y conveniencia práctica, tan sólo deben figurar aquellos por los que re sulta la existencia del duorum vel plurium in eodem consensu, en mate ria de derecho, no de mera acción política. Dos 6 tres excepciones debiera sufrir este principio por la importancia singular delos casos a que se refieren; creemos que en esta colección se tendria que determi nar y poner en claro el verdadero carácter de la adhesión de España a la Declaración de Paris de 1856, sobre el derecho marítimo, y reseñar de un modo breve, pero con la atención que el caso merece, la participa ción de nuestros plenipotenciarios en la Conferencia de Bruselas sobre el derecho de la guerra terrestre, y quizá también en las de Paris sobre la cuestión monetaria. Pero aun al objeto de no interrumpir en la obra su carácter de cuerpo de derecho vigente, deberían ir tales noticias re legadas al fin de los correspondientes tomos, a guisa de breves apen dices. A más de los tratados internacionales, opinamos que habrían de incluirse las leyes internas que regulan materias del derecho de gentes español, ya que a ellas deben acomodarse y se acomodan los tratados que se pactan con las naciones extranjeras. Adoptaron ya esta ampliación Cantillo y el mismo Janer y la colección de tratados austriaca publicada por Neumann, debe'sin duda, su gran extensión y desarrollo (cerca de veinte tomos para veinticinco años), a la riqueza quizá exagerada que en documentos de esta clase posee, iguales fuentes también inserta Stórk, el actual continuador del famoso y cen tenario Recueil de Jorge Federico de Martens. Claro es que para evi tar que pierda su carácter el trabajo, convirtiéndose en difusa rec°pi lación de las disposiciones relativas al derecho internacional esparcidas en nuestras leyes, debe limitarse la cita a aquellas que se relacionen directa y absolutamente con los derechos y deberes de los súbditos extranjeros en España.
