Brown, Sr. papers consist of a memoir of Task Force Hogan and the Battle of the Bulge written 19 October 1999, a copy of an 18 February 1945 clipping citing MAJ Brown's part in the task force, and a 3rd Armored Division Christmas card. MAJ Brown gives his recollection of the events of late December 1944 as a member of Task Force Hogan in the Battle of the Bulge, his separation from the main force, wandering around in the woods, meeting Otto Skorzeny's Germans disguised as American soldiers, and the eventual meeting up with American troops.
