This book was inspired by the unrest, indifference, and the covert actions of foreign governments interfering in the political or military affairs of Middle Eastern states all for the purpose of national security of those foreign nations. Religious and radical factions operating within the borders of those Middle Eastern States felt disenchanted and oppressed by outsiders and had resorted to terrorism as a way of persuading those foreign nations to cease and desist meddling in the affairs of their lands and vacate them. The potential of war on a scale not seen since World War II manifests from the actions of all, and war is sought by the radical religious groups that want a Holy War (Jihad). They see it as the only way to achieve autonomy. Countries in the Middle East that offer sanctuary to these radical groups lead to coalitions of foreign armies to invade those nations. Diplomacy failed as an amicable solution for sanctuary states to deal with their problem. This story is a hybrid narrative, a mixture of facts and fiction. The first book is part of a trilogy titled The Three Ts: Treason, Treachery, and Terrorism and will be followed by Precursor to War-The Awakening, and finally Oblivion-A New Beginning. These books will lay out a real and probable scenario of where we're heading if nothing changes.

Betrayal And Betrayers written by Malin Akerstrom and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-09-08 with Psychology categories.

Betrayal has a deep fascination. It captures our imagination in part because we have all betrayed or been betrayed, in small or large ways. Despite this there has been little serious work on the subject. It was this absence that inspired this book.As Akerstrom notes, betrayal is something that most people have encountered at some point in their lives. She defines betrayal as a breach of trust, when information is shared beyond an agreed upon boundary of relations, whether that boundary is a pair of friends or a nation. Taking as a point of departure Simmers work on secrets and secrecy, Akerstrom discusses categories of.betrayal, and conditions that influence its intensity. Sometimes the betrayer is seen as a hero and at other times a traitor; and sometimes there are competing loyalties. In certain situations, she reminds us, it is difficult to avoid betrayal or the perception of betrayal. Akerstrom discusses strategies people employ to avoid betraying, ranging from not telling, to making sure one does not know about something in the first place. With deft precision, she clarifies distinctions and in the process broadens our understanding.Initially inspired by insights arising from her research on the criminal informer, for which she had done in-depth interviews, Akerstrom supplements these with interviews with policemen. She has also drawn from her experiences in the field of social work, particularly with women's and crime shelters. Using biographies, autobiographies and a broad range of literature related to spies, World War II, the McCarthy era, and recent literature on whistle-blowing, Akerstrom has defined a fascinating theme. While her illustrations are sometimes dramatic, she hopes that readers will perceive obvious parallels with their own experiences. Social psychologists, sociologists, criminologists, and others interested in secrecy, secrets, and those who betray them to others will find this an unusual and absorbing volume.

"Historians may have locked the box on the JFK assassination and the life of Lyndon Baines Johnson but in reading James Norvell's riveting "out of the box" tale, you will shiver with nagging thoughts of intrigue and doubt. Norvell's semi-fictitious story, bolstered with historical facts, is a spellbinding masterpiece. He has interacted with principal characters - particularly Madeleine Brown and Billie Sol Estes - and done so in a personal manner and over an extended period of time. The more you read, the more you'll wonder, "Could this have happened?" Be careful - once you pick it up you won't put it down. Dynamite!" John H. (Jack) Grubbs, Ph.D, Brigadier General (Ret.), U. S. Army, author of Dryline and Bad Intentions. "Jim Norvell's unique approach to explaining the assassination of President Kennedy leads the reader into this complex and often difficult subject from a fresh direction. I recommend this book primarily because it exposes even the experienced student of the subject to information with which he may not have been familiar, and to possible associations between 'competing theories' about what happened in Dallas, that may indicate many of them are not necessarily mutually exclusive after all. Mr. Norvell does not pull any punches, and does not sugar-coat the assassination story in any way. An engaging read." Douglas P. Horne, formerly Chief Analyst for Military Records, Assassination Records Review Board, B.A. in History, Ohio State University, and author of Inside the Assassination Records Review Board, Vol. I-V. "My classmate from the Naval Academy, Jim Norvell, has put together a very shocking scenario that leads to a very different assassination event than the "lone gunman, lone event, Oswald-did-it" type answer. Instead he constructs a list of timed events with key power brokers in 1963 that provides a hard-core conspiratorial assassination plot. . . And if you are not entirely convinced these diverse power brokers can mesh and team to make the killing of a President possible, then go very slowly through the chapters that lay down the assassination time lines . . .Point by point, bullet by bullet, the historical novel unfolds. . . .But I assure you that it will not end with a lone event, a lone gunman. Two additional assassinations follow with the shootings of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy. Norvell drives you back in time to the 60's to piece together for you an entirely different assassination than the one focused on Oswald and defended as such by the Warren Commission. This is a very good read for all and especially for those who to this day can remember where we were on November 22, 1963." Alexander J. Krekich, Vice Admiral, U. S. Navy (Retired); B.S. U.S. Naval Academy 1964, M.S.A. George Washington University, 1972; U.S. Army Command & General Staff College, 1973; and Naval War College, 1978. "I extend personal thanks to Jim Norvell for his deep insights, for connections not uncovered anywhere else, and for bringing us nearer to the solution to the most horrific crime in American History, horrific for what it did to one man and his family, horrific for what it did to America, and horrific for the failure of the authorities to mete out justice." Barr McClellan, B.A., J.D., University of Texas, author of Blood, Money and Power, How LBJ Killed JFK, and former law partner with LBJ's attorney, Ed Clark. "Jim Norvell's historical novel is a truly remarkable study of a broad range of facts surrounding a single individual. What he has carefully developed is almost unthinkable to well-adjusted human beings. To my knowledge, this depiction has not been accomplished before in our time, and he should be commended for all the long years of effort that it required. I found that his identification of LBJ as a narcissist is quite well-founded. There is a long and well-established history of those traits among world leaders in every field, many in very public roles. Health care professionals have identified and articulated in textbooks different types of narcissism and their symptomatic traits, some of which are incredibly destructive and actually evil. Jim's novel acutely and accurately displays the personification of pure evil in LBJ. I think he has written a serious best-seller which will lead readers to thoughtfully and carefully examine the traits and actions which our public figures display." Ray C. Witter, Rear Admiral, U.S. Navy (Ret.), B.S. U.S. Naval Academy, M.S., Engineering Accoustics, Naval Postgraduate School

“Liberals’ loyalty to the United States is off-limits as a subject of political debate. Why is the relative patriotism of the two parties the only issue that is out of bounds for rational discussion?” In a stunning follow-up to her number one bestseller Slander, leading conservative pundit Ann Coulter contends that liberals have been wrong on every foreign policy issue, from the fight against Communism at home and abroad, the Nixon and the Clinton presidencies, and the struggle with the Soviet empire right up to today’s war on terrorism. “Liberals have a preternatural gift for always striking a position on the side of treason,” says Coulter. “Everyone says liberals love America, too. No, they don’t.” From Truman to Kennedy to Carter to Clinton, America has contained, appeased, and retreated, often sacrificing America’s best interests and security. With the fate of the world in the balance, liberals should leave the defense of the nation to conservatives. Reexamining the sixty-year history of the Cold War and beyond—including the career of Senator Joseph McCarthy, the Whittaker Chambers–Alger Hiss affair, Ronald Reagan’s challenge to Mikhail Gorbachev to “tear down this wall,” the Gulf War, and our present war on terrorism—Coulter reveals how liberals have been horribly wrong in all their political analyses and policy prescriptions. McCarthy, exonerated by the Venona Papers if not before, was basically right about Soviet agents working for the U.S. government. Hiss turned out to be a high-ranking Soviet spy (who consulted Roosevelt at Yalta). Reagan, ridiculed throughout his presidency, ended up winning the Cold War. And George W. Bush, also an object of ridicule, has performed exceptionally in responding to America’s newest threats at home and abroad. Coulter, who in Slander exposed a liberal bias in today’s media, also examines how history, especially in the latter half of the twentieth century, has been written by liberals and, therefore, distorted by their perspective. Far from being irrelevant today, her clearheaded and piercing view of what we’ve been through informs us perfectly for challenges today and in the future. With Slander, Ann Coulter became the most recognized and talked-about conservative intellectual of the year. Treason, in many ways an even more controversial and prescient book, will ignite impassioned political debate at one of the most crucial moments in our history.
