Ce travail comporte une réflexion sur la notion de stéréotype en linguistique et une analyse des aspects du fonctionnement des stéréotypes dans le discours politique institutionnel. À travers la description des phénomènes sémantiques observés dans le corpus et en nous intéressant à la combinatoire, à l'usage des métaphores et à certains modèles syntaxiques, nous dressons une typologie des représentations linguistiques des stéréotypes dans le corpus du discours politique en russe et en français. Dans l'optique des approches sémantiques élaborées par H. Putnam et développée par B. Fradin, J.-C. Anscombre, J. Bartmiński, les stéréotypes sont compris comme listes ouvertes de caractéristiques non référentielles issues des croyances communautaires et associées à des éléments de langage. Le fonctionnement des stéréotypes dans le cadre des enchaînements argumentatifs est considéré sous l'angle de la théorie des stéréotypes de J.-C. Anscombre. Un des objectifs est d'observer comment les stéréotypes, révélés à travers des indices lexicaux et syntaxiques, servent à former des représentations d'objets, des personnes et de phénomènes pertinents pour le discours politique en russe et en français. Pour atteindre cet objectif, les stéréotypes, étant rappels mémoriels à des dires antérieurs et à des évènements antérieurs, sont explorés et interprétés à travers les notions de dialogisme. Sont analysés l'usage, la création, la reprise, la redistribution et la transposition des caractéristiques stéréotypiques, en tant que partie de la stratégie linguistique qui sert pour constituer ou reproduire consciemment les représentations assurant la persuasivité de la communication politique.
