A identidade docente e profissional se constitui na interação entre as pessoas e suas experiências individuais e profissionais, portanto a profissionalização corresponde ao processo de transformação de um trabalhador em um profissional, habilitando-o a assumir funções profissionais complexas e variadas. Sendo assim, este trabalho tem como objetivo geral analisar as práticas pedagógicas de docentes de enfermagem no ensino técnico profissionalizante, objetivando construir casos de ensino que auxiliem na formação de professores para esses cursos. Utilizamos um referencial teórico amplo, voltado para a prática profissional de docentes enfermeiros, apresentando a evolução do ensino da enfermagem, casos de ensino como prática reflexiva dos docentes e a pandemia da Covid-19. Os resultados trazem as reflexões das participantes sobre sua prática docente e suas percepções quanto à condução da prática pedagógica em sala de aula, evidenciando que, para o exercício da docência, é necessário buscar o aperfeiçoamento, reconhecer a importância da profissionalidade e repensar as práticas.
