'¿De qué nos alejábamos?', se pregunta la narradora sobre una mudanza de Rosario a Buenos Aires, a principios de los 90. La escritura nos guía por un tiempo espeso de vivencias familiares, amorosas, sociales, muchas veces muy duras, que difícilmente se podrían narrar si no fuera poniendo a muestra la búsqueda de un método, el que permite no olvidar, y reconstruirse, que habiten juntos lo viejo y lo nuevo, el acá y el allá, yuxtapuestos, sin que se suelte el hilo que terminará por dejar clara la historia que hay que contar: la de algunas mujeres que llegaron a Argentina a trabajar, escapando de la destrucción de la guerra en Europa. No es una historia que se cuente con facilidad, los recuerdos y relatos polemizan entre sí, los signan el desamparo y la incertidumbre. Aún así se avanza, porque la de ellas enmarca la de otras y la propia, que viven el paso del tiempo y el abandono de un espacio desde una inquietud irreparable. Pero: 'No crean que es nostalgia, voy hacia otro lugar'. A ese lugar nos lleva la escritura de Un método contra el olvido, a una forma de la alegría de lo que está siempre en movimiento" (Paloma Vidal).
