Desde marzo de 2020 a la humanidad la azota una de las pandemias más aterradoras de la que se tenga información, las medidas tomadas por los gobiernos del mundo para evitar el contagio nos han aislado de nuestras propias familias, amigos y de los espacios que siempre frecuentamos para compartir el amor por la poesía, ello nos ha obligado a buscar nuevas maneras de encontrarnos, por las redes, en videoconferencias, audios y textos, o por cualquier otra vía que nos haga sentir cerca. En junio de 2021, Daniel Mogollón (Perú) creó el grupo de WhatsApp ―Escritores Latinoamericanos‖ y su convocatoria llego a nosotros como otra oportunidad de encuentro, muchos nos sumamos y comenzamos desde allí a intercambiar ideas, a compartir nuestros textos y a presentar nuevas propuestas para hacer realidad proyectos.
