Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Politik - Politisches System Deutschlands, Note: 1,3, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Institut für Politikwissenschaften), Veranstaltung: Basisseminar: Politisches System der BRD, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im September 2011 erreicht die Piratenpartei bei den Wahlen zum Abgeordnetenhaus von Berlin ein überraschend starkes Wahlergebnis von 8,9 Prozent (Amt für Statistik Berlin-Brandenburg 2012) und zog damit zum ersten Mal in ihrer Geschichte in ein deutsches Landesparlament ein. Dieses Wahlergebnis zeigt, dass es sich bei der Piratenpartei um eine politische Kraft handelt, die ernsthafte Ambitionen und Möglichkeiten hat, Einfluss auf das deutsche Politikgeschehen zu nehmen. Es ist daher nicht abwegig anzunehmen, dass die Piratenpartei in Zukunft eine immer größere Rolle in der deutschen Parteienlandschaft spielen könnte. Insbesondere vor diesem Hintergrund ist eine politikwissenschaftliche Beschäftigung mit der Piratenpartei von großer Relevanz. In meiner Hausarbeit werde ich mich daher mit der Piratenpartei in Deutschland beschäftigen und dabei die Frage analysieren, wie sich die Partei typisieren lässt. Als theoretische Grundlage wird dabei das Typisierungsschema nach Paul Lucardie dienen, welches zur Typisierung von politischen Parteien fünf verschiedene Dimensionen unterscheidet (Lucardie 2007: 62). Ich werde die Piratenpartei in Bezug auf jede dieser fünf Dimensionen analysieren und somit eine detailierte Typisierung der Partei vornehmen. Zu Beginn der Hausarbeit werde ich zunächst auf die Problematik der Typisierung von politischen Parteien im Allgemeinen eingehen und darlegen, warum das Typisierungsschema nach Lucardie am geeignetsten ist, um die Piratenpartei zu analysieren. Darauf folgend wird eine genaue Analyse der Partei bezüglich der fünf Typisierungsdimensionen durchgeführt, um abschließend im Fazit die Ergebnisse der Analyse zusammenzufassen und einen Ausblick auf weitere, sich anschließende Forschungsfragen zu eröffnen.
