E infatti due onnipotenze gestivano il grande affare del nuovo secolo: quella tecnica del Consorzio Venezia Nuova e quella politica articolata per centri di potere fino ai più alti livelli dello Stato. Un'inchiesta giornalistica della migliore tradizione per capire come si è arrivati a questo punto e, soprattutto, se è possibile uscirne.

Sullo sfondo è ritratta l’Isola di Capraia, l’odore del mare, il umore delle onde, mentre sul palco della vita si intrecciano due storie che ci fanno riflettere sul potere dell’amicizia, sulla forza dell’amore, sul dolore straziante di chi lotta quotidianamente con malattie come l’anoressia. Ci sono momenti in cui arriviamo a un bivio in cui non sappiano più che strada prendere e a salvarci a volte potrebbero essere proprio l’amore e le parole che raccontano di noi. Barbara Chiavarino, torinese, classe 1970, si è laureata in Lettere classiche con indirizzo archeologico e poi ha conseguito master e specializzazioni in Business communication e management e poi in Leadership e medical coaching. Le persone e i loro progetti sono al centro del suo lavoro di oggi, come coach, formatrice e facilitatrice in organizzazioni pubbliche e private, a livello internazionale e nazionale. Scrivere di ciò che vede, di ciò che sente e di ciò che intuisce, rientra fra i suoi progetti personali. Per molto tempo lo ha fatto condividendolo con poche persone. Nel 2002 ha fatto stampare Faccia da prima classe, una raccolta di episodi e aneddoti della sua quinquennale esperienza di direttore marketing di un organismo di certificazione. Anno Zero è il suo primo romanzo.
