Inhaltsangabe:Einleitung: Die Bedeutung der Unternehmensbewertung ist im letzten Jahrzehnt stetig gestiegen. Die Notwendigkeit zur Bewertung von Unternehmen besteht im Einklang mit dem dynamischen Zuwachs an Unternehmenstransaktionen und der Bedeutung der Kapitalmärkte. In beiden Fällen stellt die Unternehmensbewertung ein entscheidendes Hilfsmittel für Investitionsentscheidungen dar. In der heutigen Informationsgesellschaft werden uninformierte Investitionsentscheidungen nicht mehr getroffen. Da Bewertungsverfahren in der Preisfindung von Investitionen eine kritische Rolle zukommt, ist das stark gestiegene Interesse an ihnen die logische Folge. Im Verlauf dieser Arbeit wurden die unterschiedlichen Strukturen der heute dominierenden Verfahren untersucht und praxisorientierte Gesichtspunkte, die im Bewertungsprozeß zu beachten sind, genannt. In diesem Zusammenhang werden die Strukturen der gängigen Verfahren zur Unternehmensbewertung untersucht. Dabei rücken die Methoden in den Fokus, welche die kapitalmarktorientierte Bewertung dominieren und in der Praxis von Kapitalmarktteilnehmern und Investoren angewandt werden. In diesem Kontext wird die kapitalmarktorientierte Eignung der Methoden analysiert. Dabei wird v.a. auf die Anwendbarkeit und Verwertbarkeit durch unternehmensexterne Analysten eingegangen. Zusätzlich werden pragmatische Leitlinien für die anwendungsorientierte Umsetzung der einzelnen Verfahren ergänzt. Dem Leser soll somit komprimiert, verständlich und kritisch nahe gebracht werden, welche Unternehmensbewertungsverfahren in der Praxis geeignet sind, um internationalen und marktorientierten Bewertungssituationen Rechnung zu tragen.
