Con questo volume si intende offrire un omaggio a Francesco Giannattasio, un caro amico e collega che ha tanto contribuito allo sviluppo della ricerca e della riflessione teorica nel campo dell’etnomusicologia. In February 2014 an international seminar on musical dynamics and creativity in Africa was held at Tor Vergata University of Rome.
