Ezra Pound scrisse che un poeta deve saperci dare il suo mondo. Soprattutto indaga i Cantos, quel nuovo viaggio in Italia e mito personale che è una delle opere più scombussolanti, intriganti e a momenti toccanti del Novecento. Ma c’è anche la storia personale di Pound, dei suoi maestri e sodali Yeats, Ford, Wyndham Lewis, Eliot, dei suoi amici italiani Marinetti, Pea, Scheiwiller, e dei suoi amori da giovane e vecchio, sempre finalizzati alla passione di raccontare.
