Flower Seeds by the ounce and pound, and Vegetable Seeds by the pound, and bushel, are priced net in the body of this catalogue ten pounds the minimum amount at the hundred rate; pound at the pound rate; bushel at the bushel rate. Between 1850 and 1880, Americans of all ranks and circumstances planted shade trees, cultivated flower gardens, and established lawns with a new found enthusiasm that both astonished and delighted horticultural advocates.
