La stesura di questa silloge deriva da un'attenta riflessione dell'autrice su alcuni personaggi famosi del passato il cui pensiero,comportamenti e azioni sono stati trasposti in chiave poetica. Tale riflessione è legata all'auspicio che l'umanità cambi al più presto determinati comportamenti disfunzionali al benessere proprio e del pianeta. Ciò implica la volontà che tutti innalziamo la nostra coscienza a più elevati livelli di consapevolezza, solidarietà e civiltà. In tal senso, la storia, attraverso i suoi numerosi “esempi”, continua a rivelarsi una grande maestra di vita. Annalisa Potenza, originaria di Pescara, insegna in una scuola media. Appassionata di pittura e scrittura, ha conseguito diversi riconoscimenti nei concorsi letterari. Ha fondato un Movimento spontaneo libero e indipendente chiamato “Creazionismo per una nuova era” presente su tutto il territorio nazionale (www.creazionismoperunanuovaera.org) con il fine di diffondere valori fondamentali come la pace e la solidarietà. Insieme ai membri del Movimento ha scritto un libro intitolato “Oltre il conflitto: una nuova visione” che sta diffondendo gratuitamente nelle scuole delle diverse regioni d'Italia. Il Movimento è presente su Facebook a partire dalla metà di agosto 2023.

Il testo di Bianca Fasano, seguendo una traiettoria disuguale, tenta di recuperare, dall’apparente irrazionalità della tesi parapsicologica, una serie di percorsi logici o passibili di studio. La prima parte contiene una presentazione dell’autrice, scritta allo scopo di rendersi psicologicamente più comprensibile. I capoversi prendono il via dalle principali motivazioni che possono spingere l’uomo alla ricerca del paranormale e le deduzioni successive propongono risposte anche al quesito se risulti positiva al fine del vivere quotidiano, la ricerca di un’anima immortale, rispetto alla vita materiale e caduca che conduciamo. Si sonda l’irrazionale, allo scopo di offrire un quadro complessivo di cosa possa realmente considerarsi scontato e sicuro, nella vita di ogni individuo, per quanto concerne la realtà sociale, scientifica, religiosa e storica e propone alcune esperienze medianiche dell’autrice. L’interesse suscitato dalle tesi che il lavoro propone, offre un apporto importante al mondo della ricerca parapsicologica ed un affascinante testo di lettura per tutti. Interessante una lettera che l'autrice ha ricevuto: "Buonasera signora Bianca il mio nome è Cinzia Laiso di sicuro non le dirà nulla infatti non ho il piacere di conoscerla personalmente e nemmeno mai scambiato nessun messaggio finora: comunque Lei conosce fatti che sono accaduti nella mia famiglia e raccontati nel Suo libro Voci dal passato.....fatti che mi raccontava mia madre ed io ero sempre lì attenta ad ascoltare a bocca aperta perché mi sembrava di ascoltare delle favole in qualche maniera ma era molto più affascinante perchè si trattava di mio nonno medium e questi fatti Lei li ha conosciuti tramite il signor Felice Bruno.....sì signora Bianca Lei ha raccontato di mio nonno Vincenzo Iorio padre di mia madre Grazia Iorio medium molto forte il cui spirito guida era Alfredo De Felice fratello morto giovanissimo della mia nonna Wanda De Felice....ho saputo di questo libro solo pochi giorni fa direi per caso dal figlio di una mia carissima amica e conoscono anche loro la vicenda in quanto la nonna della mia amica era stata presente a delle sedute ed in famiglia si raccontava ciò. Che dire ...sono emozionata anche di scriverle non so se leggerà questo mio lungo messaggio e di questo me ne scuso ma sono tante le cose da dire a riguardo che non saprei nemmeno da dove cominciare. Dico solo che sono orgogliosa di essere la nipote di Vincenzo non perchè aveva questo dono ma per l'uomo che era....era un marito padre amico meraviglioso una persona corretta e piena di ideali, soprattutto incorruttibile e non ha mai lucrato su questa cosa ed io avrei voluto veramente essere stata guidata da lui nei passi della mia vita....peccato non averlo conosciuto! Chiedo scusa se l'ho disturbata Le auguro grandi successi nella Sua professione". Tanto per comprendere come il libro sia attinente al vero.

Since the very beginnings of the digital humanities, Papyrology has been in the vanguard of the application of information technologies to its own scientific purposes, for both theoretical and practical reasons (the strong awareness towards the problems of human memory and the material ways of preserving it; the need to work with a multifarious and overwhelming amount of different data). After more than thirty years of development, we have now at our disposal the most advanced tools to make papyrological studies more and more effective, and even to create a new conception of "papyrology" and a new model of "edition" of the ancient documents. At this turining point, it is important to build an epistemological framework including all the different expressions of Digital Papyrology, to trace a historical sketch setting the background of the contemporary tools, and to provide a clear overview of the current theoretical and technological trends, so that all the possibilities currently available can be exploited following uniform pathways. The volume represents an innovative attempt to deal with such topics, usually relegated into very quick and general treatments within journal articles or papyrological handbooks.

Social Studies of the sciences have long analyzed and exposed the constructed nature of knowledge. Pioneering studies of knowledge production in laboratories (e.g., Latour/Woolgar 1979; Knorr-Cetina 1981) have identified factors that affect processes that lead to the generation of scientific data and their subsequent interpretation, such as money, training and curriculum, location and infrastructure, biography-based knowledge and talent, and chance. More recent theories of knowledge construction have further identified different forms of knowledge, such as tacit, intuitive, explicit, personal, and social knowledge. These theoretical frameworks and critical terms can help reveal and clarify the processes that led to ancient data gathering, information and knowledge production. The contributors use late-antique hermeneutical associations as means to explore intuitive or even tacit knowledge; they appreciate mistakes as a platform to study the value of personal knowledge and its premises; they think about rows and tables, letter exchanges, and schools as platforms of distributed cognition; they consider walls as venues for social knowledge production; and rethink the value of social knowledge in scholarly genealogies—then and now.
