Raumplanung, Note: 1,7, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (Fakultät Architektur), Veranstaltung: Vertiefende Stadt- und Regionalplanung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die sich ständig weiter ausbreitende Menschheit verändert in immer stärkerem Maße das Aussehen der Erde, sei es durch wachsende Städte, Erhöhung der industriellen Produktion oder zunehmende Umweltverschmutzungen. Diese Veränderungen bewirken zwangsläufig auch eine Modifikation der unteren Atmosphärenschichten und damit einhergehend eine Beeinflussung des Umweltfaktors Klima. Die hierbei auftretenden Veränderungen dürften im Stadtraum – durch seine starke anthropogene Struktur – am ausgeprägtesten sein und im Zusammenhang mit der Tatsache, dass ein Großteil der Bevölkerung auf diesem Planeten in Städten lebt, wirkt sich diese Modifikation des Mikro- und Mesoklimas auf die Lebensmöglichkeiten des Menschen, sein Wohlbefinden und seine Leistungsfähigkeit aus. (HELBIG et al. 1999) Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es somit, die auftretenden Modifikationen besonders im Stadtbereich aufzuzeigen, wobei das Hauptaugenmerk auf den charakteristischen Erscheinungsformen dieser Modifikationen liegen soll (Kapitel 2). Wie sich diese größtenteils negativen Veränderungen des Klimas innerhalb der Stadt verbessern lassen soll im Kapitel 3 erläutert werden. Hier erfolgt zunächst eine kurze rechtliche Einführung zur Problematik der Planung und des Klimaschutzes in welcher gezeigt werden soll, dass der Klimaschutz innerhalb der Gesetzsprechung schon längere Zeit Einzug gehalten hat. Dies wurde allerdings bisher nur unzureichend umgesetzt. Im Anschluss daran wird das m.E. am besten geeigneteste Planungsinstrument – die Ökologische Vorrangfläche – vorgestellt. Innerhalb dieses Abschnittes wird dazu die beispielhafte Ausweisung dieser Art der Vorrangfläche aufgezeigt. Abschließend sollen in einer Zusammenfassung/Ausblick, mögliche Entwicklungstendenzen genannt werden.
