"We are Cousins!" is a children's picture book that places emphasis on family and relations. Being an active member of a family will allow the space for children to build and develop trust, sense of identity and mostly a sense of belonging. The family provides children with a sense of a unique identity. This interpersonal relationship will help them grow and develop effectively. A family is also the source of emotional support comfort, warmth nurturing, protection and refuge. The family relations do contribute significantly and benefits the child's thriving process. Children flourish when they are in a reliable environment, one that provides love, nurture, kindness and security. All these elements are integral attributes for the child's well development and growth. The story paves the way for other children to be willing to be interactive with other family members to bond and build an everlasting relationship. The participation in one's own environment is a significant attribute to one child's well fare that is the hope for the future of mankind. Children at young age learn through their daily life experiences to relate to one anther in productive and positive ways. In the meantime, they develop a sense of their being while in the socially interactive environment. The experiences that will appropriately get them involved so to have an understanding on how relations work.
