Deep Sub-Micron (DSM) processes present many changes to Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) circuit designers. One of the greatest challenges is crosstalk, which becomes significant with shrinking feature sizes of VLSI fabrication processes. The presence of crosstalk greatly limits the speed and increases the power consumption of the IC design. This book focuses on crosstalk avoidance with bus encoding, one of the techniques that selectively mitigates the impact of crosstalk and improves the speed and power consumption of the bus interconnect. This technique encodes data before transmission over the bus to avoid certain undesirable crosstalk conditions and thereby improve the bus speed and/or energy consumption.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 9th International Workshop on Enterprise and Organizational Modeling and Simulation, EOMAS 2013, held in conjunction with CAiSE 2013 in Valencia, Spain, in June 2013. Tools and methods for modeling and simulation are widely used in enterprise engineering, organizational studies and business process management. In monitoring and evaluating business processes and the interactions of actors in a realistic environment, modeling and simulation have proven to be both powerful, efficient and economic, especially if complemented by animation and gaming elements. The ten contributions in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 22 submissions. They explore the above topics, address the underlying challenges find and improve solutions, and show the application of modeling and simulation in the domains of enterprises, their organizations and underlying business processes.

Curious Curves written by Richard B. Darst and has been published by World Scientific this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009 with Mathematics categories.

Curious Curves is self-contained and unified in presentation. This book is suitable for a topics course, capstone course, or senior seminar; it is also intended for independent study by students and others interested in mathematics.Curves can often provide a better representation of natural phenomena than do the figures of classical geometry. Thus the content ? presented with an emphasis on the geometric intuition characteristic of the study of curves ? is highly relevant not only for people working in mathematics, but also those in other sciences. The explanations are detailed and illustrative to capture the interest of the reader, as well as complete to provide the necessary background information needed to go further into the subject.

A Modern Theory Of Factorial Design written by Rahul Mukerjee and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-01-15 with Mathematics categories.

The last twenty years have witnessed a significant growth of interest in optimal factorial designs, under possible model uncertainty, via the minimum aberration and related criteria. This book gives, for the first time in book form, a comprehensive and up-to-date account of this modern theory. Many major classes of designs are covered in the book. While maintaining a high level of mathematical rigor, it also provides extensive design tables for research and practical purposes. Apart from being useful to researchers and practitioners, the book can form the core of a graduate level course in experimental design.

Programming language has rendered itself as the language of choice for coding beginners and advanced software programmers alike. This book is written to help you master the basic concepts of Python and SQL coding and how you can utilize your coding skills to analyze a large volume of data and uncover valuable information that can otherwise be easily lost in the volume. Python was designed primarily to emphasize readability of the programming code, and its syntax enables programmers to convey ideas using fewer lines of code. The Structured Query Language (SQL) is the language of choice define, manipulate, control and query the data within a RDBMS. Python programming, data analysis, and machine learning are widely credited in the birth of the powerhouse, which is the "Silicon Valley." To become a machine learning expert, a sound and in-depth understanding of every nuance of this area is critical. On the other hand, you can efficiently and effectively learn and write SQL statements or queries to retrieve from and update data on relational databases such as MySQL. You will be able to install the free and open MySQL user interface with the instructions provided in this book. Starting Arduino Programming allows you to rapidly and intuitively develop your programming abilities through sketching in code. This book provides you with an understanding of the standard structure for developing Arduino code, including the functions, syntax, structure, and libraries needed to produce future tasks. Some of the highlights of the book include: - Key features and advantages of learning to code Python as well as the history of how Python programming was created - Step-by-step instructions on how to install Python on your operating systems - Concept of Python data types is presented in exquisite detail with various examples of each data type - Learn how to create Python variables - Lists of a variety of built-in functions and methods supported by Python - Basic concepts of writing efficient and effective Python codes - A variety of SQL data types that are a pre-requisite for learning SQL have been explained in an easy-to-understand language - Learn how to create an effective database on the MySQL server as well as to create data tables - The key concept of SQL Joins is provided in exquisite detail including different SQL JOIN and the SQL Union functions - Learn CREATE VIEW, MERGE, TEMPTABLE, UNDEFINED, Updatable SQL Views, ALTER VIEW - The properties of SQL transactions - What is Arduino Programming - Stating Arrays - Arduino: Program Structure - Arduino: String Item Finally, as an added bonus you will learn some Python, SQL and Arduino tips and tricks to take your machine learning programming game to the next level. An Introduction To Quantum Stochastic Calculus written by K.R. Parthasarathy and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-12-13 with Mathematics categories.

An Introduction to Quantum Stochastic Calculus aims to deepen our understanding of the dynamics of systems subject to the laws of chance both from the classical and the quantum points of view and stimulate further research in their unification. This is probably the first systematic attempt to weave classical probability theory into the quantum framework and provides a wealth of interesting features: The origin of Ito’s correction formulae for Brownian motion and the Poisson process can be traced to commutation relations or, equivalently, the uncertainty principle. Quantum stochastic integration enables the possibility of seeing new relationships between fermion and boson fields. Many quantum dynamical semigroups as well as classical Markov semigroups are realised through unitary operator evolutions. The text is almost self-contained and requires only an elementary knowledge of operator theory and probability theory at the graduate level. - - - This is an excellent volume which will be a valuable companion both to those who are already active in the field and those who are new to it. Furthermore there are a large number of stimulating exercises scattered through the text which will be invaluable to students. (Mathematical Reviews) This monograph gives a systematic and self-contained introduction to the Fock space quantum stochastic calculus in its basic form (...) by making emphasis on the mathematical aspects of quantum formalism and its connections with classical probability and by extensive presentation of carefully selected functional analytic material. This makes the book very convenient for a reader with the probability-theoretic orientation, wishing to make acquaintance with wonders of the noncommutative probability, and, more specifcally, for a mathematics student studying this field. (Zentralblatt MATH) Elegantly written, with obvious appreciation for fine points of higher mathematics (...) most notable is [the] author's effort to weave classical probability theory into [a] quantum framework.
