This book is a warehouse of stories of many deaths around me and my family and how I coped with them. It deals with lifes vicissitudes and unshakable faith which will encourage readers to effectively cope with loss. Readers will understand Gods unfailing love and develop faith that will help them persevere in the face of adversity. They will also understand Gods grace which is the cornerstone of success in any human endeavor. Salvation is another important component of this book, and I have joyfully related and reiterated its necessity for eternity. An important and interesting part of this book deals with my encounter with a known atheist, and what happened afterward will surprise readers. Moreover, this book was prayerfully written and will remain a glorious and anointed masterpiece for ages to come. It can also serve an academic purpose, especially for those in the arts and social sciences with particular focus on the subject of bereavement. I have no doubt that it will make a big and positive impact on those who read, and more importantly, meditate on it. Frances Ebisike-Eboh writes with a raw emotion giving you a pick into the lab of real life experiences with life and death. Her personal experiences through the peaks and valleys of life are inspiring, and her honesty about struggles with faith in the dark seasons of life is refreshing. Pastor Russell Hodgins. What incredible stories that will be sure to encourage you and open your eyes to the many ways God might be working in your life. Pastor David VanDonge.

Edith Prendergast, R.S.C., issues a clarion call to both conversion and renewal, inviting readers to enter more deeply into the mind and heart of Christ and to live as his messengers in the Church and the world. In a world burdened by anxiety and fear, where human weakness and social sin tear at the fabric of every institution, Prendergast reminds her readers that each one has been given an amazing gift of faith and calls them to revitalize their commitment to others. Prendergasts compelling spiritual vision is enriched by her skilled use of scripture, the saints and mystics, and contemporary writers and poets. She also draws from the little epiphanies of ordinary, everyday life be they the words of a child or the insights of a homeless man. With a spirit of reverence and delight, each reflection harmonizes a host of voices that both inspire and energize her readers.

A Doubter S Guide To The Bible written by John Dickson and has been published by Zondervan this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-02-03 with Religion categories.

A concise account of the whole biblical narrative and what it means—as well as the beliefs and lifestyle it inspires—for those observing Christianity from the outside, especially those who think there are good reasons not to believe. A Doubter's Guide to the Bible charts a biblical roadmap from the story of creation to the fulfillment of creation, answering many of the most frequently asked questions along the way: How can we read the creation account in Genesis in light of modern science? How should Old Testament law be understood when it appears inconsistent and irrelevant? Isn't the story of Jesus' birth a little far-fetched? What is the Gospel? Why are there four accounts of the same thing, and what are they really saying? John Dickson provides a readable and inviting Bible primer for anyone interested in informing themselves about the most widely read book in the history of humanity. By presenting the whole of the Bible as an account of God's promise to restore humanity to Himself, and humans to one another and to creation, Dickson allows believers and skeptics alike to gain insight into why the Bible has been a compelling, life-changing, and magnetic force throughout the ages—and why it still matters.

This is a story of faith. I'll use my Journey during medical crisis within these pages and for everyone who is in doubt about their faith; I hope this will shake them into to knowing that "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1. I can only hope that the reader will grab from this experience that it is faith that I clanged too. So God gets the total victory. Several years ago, God blessed me to write "Hearing God Over all the Madness: Trusting God for Everything". That was a period in which my life was hearing from God, not in a sense of hearing voices but hearing through his word and actions of people and things situated around me. Since that time I have found myself in a struggle of some sort. I thank God for allowing me the opportunity to meet people every day and to learn from such meetings. I have truly learned that no matter what your situation is one must keep the faith. Without it, there is no way you will survive. My faith abounds because I have faith that all I do that is good, Faith doth abound. From making personalized cards to a Scrapbook DVD. I know that God gives me faith to be creative and produce a product of excellence. Faith Without work is dead." Now I am about to embark on a journey I never dreamed I'd be in. Truly my faith abound as I hear God over this madness...Cancer!

Nearly all scholars divide Genesis into primeval and patriarchal history, though they debate the precise point of division. One reason advanced to justify the division is a thematic shift. In primeval history, the narrator focuses on the origin and spread of sin, as well as God's consequent curse and judgment on humanity. In patriarchal history, however, the spread of sin theme falls off the radar of most scholars. But these analyses of the primeval and patriarchal narratives are simplistic and inaccurate. In fact, the theme of human sin and the divine curse not only serve as the main themes of the Fall narrative, but they also continue to function as major themes in both the primeval and patriarchal narratives that follow. More particularly, human sin appears to increase at both individual and societal levels. Moreover, just as the primordial sin threatened to derail the advance of God's kingdom and fulfillment of the creation mandate, so the spread of human sin in postlapsarian history threatens to thwart God's redemptive plan, which consists in the restoration of his original creational intentions for divine and human eschatological fullness. This proves true even in the patriarchal narratives where the sins of God's chosen often threaten the very promise intended for their ultimate good. These facts, which the author attempts to demonstrate in the monograph, not only have important ramifications for the unity of the Genesis corpus, but they also have important implications for the doctrines of sin, justification, and sanctification.
