Lictor is a short novel about the only humans still alive in a cave. They always feel the shadow of a monster over their heads. At the beginning of this short novel, we read: The advent of the monster transformed human life. The enforced exile of people to a spacious, dark and grim cave and their segregation were the most fundamental of these changes. As soon as humans set foot in the cave, they decided to repair and rebuild the damp walls of the cave that reeked of staleness. Soon after, each group took over a part of the cave and refurbished and redecorated it as they wished. They were granted permission to live into the cave on a condition: to offer a human sacrifice to the monster every day. Feeling helpless and desperate, human understood that they had no choice but to embrace their grim destiny and endure the scourges of living in the cave by fulfilling the monster's arbitrary demand. The monster emerged a long time ago. Now there were only a few humans left
