Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Geschichte Deutschlands - Nationalsozialismus, Zweiter Weltkrieg, Note: 1,0, Pädagogische Hochschule Karlsruhe (Sozialwissenschaften), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Gegenstand der vorliegenden Arbeit ist der Widerstand im Nationalsozialismus in Karlsruhe in den Anfangsjahren der NS-Herrschaft, also vor allem in den Jahren 1933 und 1934. Aus historischer Sicht ist es interessant zu untersuchen, welche verschiedenen Formen von oppositionellen Aktivitäten es gerade in der Zeit der Umwälzung und der Gleichschaltung gegeben hat. Gegen den Nationalsozialismus wurde bereits vor 1933 auf politischer Ebene durch die Arbeiterparteien (SPD, KPD) vorgegangen, sei es in Versammlungssälen, in der Presse, vor ordentlichen Gerichten oder auf der Straße. Mit der Machtergreifung der Nationalsozialisten setzte sich ihr Kampf fort, erfolgte jedoch unter völlig anderen Voraussetzungen. Als Reaktion auf den Berliner Reichstagsbrand wurde am 28. Februar 1933 die sog. „Verordnung des Reichspräsidenten zum Schutz von Volk und Staat“ offiziell zur „Abwehr kommunistischer staatsgefährdender Gewaltakte“ verabschiedet, welche später von den Nationalsozialisten jedoch als „Generalpräventivmaßnahme gegen jegliche oppositionellen Bewegungen“ eingesetzt wurde. Wer gegen diese Anordnungen verstieß, musste nach §4 mit einer Gefängnisstrafe „nicht unter einem Monat oder mit Geldstrafe von 150 bis zu 15.000 Reichsmark“ rechnen.
