Mi chiamo Matteo Capannolo, sono nato il 9 Agosto del 1962 a San Demetrio Nei Vestini in provincia di L'Aquila. Ho cominciato a scrivere poesie, quasi per divertimento, tante volte per biglietti commemorativi quando si doveva festeggiare un collega, perché le rime mi venivano facili alla penna. Nella mia vita ho avuto momenti tragici (Il terremoto nel 2009 e la perdita di mia moglie nel 2013), che non mi hanno tolto la voglia di scrivere. La mia prima poesia l'ho scritta in spagnolo, subito dopo aver imparato la lingua, nel periodo in cui sono stato in Venezuela a trovare i miei parenti nel 1988, e questo è bastato a darmi la carica per proseguire in questo percorso che ti fa uscire dal cuore tutta la romanticità che serve per scrivere poesie. Ed eccomi qua a presentare queste mie sette poesie, scritte in questi ultimi anni. A voi, o popolo, l'ardua sentenza.
