Würde man aber der Klenz aufwärts bis zu deren Quellen folgen, so erhielte man eine Wasserader von 120 km, und bis zu den Ahrnbachquellen sind es sogar 128 km. Das mittlere Gefälle des Eisack be trägt vermöge der hohen Lage seines Ursprungs 21 m auf jeden Kilometer. Sieht man aber von der kurzen Strecke oberhalb des Brenners ab, so beläuft es sich auf auf 1 km, also auf genau soviel wie bei der Etsch. Wechselt es bei4 Albrecht Fendt.
