Beginning in the 1970s, facing the earth's environmental upheaval and theconsumption of energy and resources, the environment was finally unable to cope with the growth of population density predicted. Therefore, the issue of how to respond to the residential environment load has become an important condition influencing the future construction and development of buildings. From Green Design in 1970 to Eco Design in 1980, people started to focus on environmental ecology. From 1990 to 2000, and then to circular economy and design after 2010. Architecture becomes the largest object to face under the subject of the circular economy. Under circular economy thinking and the emergence of digital manufacturing, changed the past working relationship between designer and manufacturer - at the early stage of the design material and production process will be taken into account, the design and manufacturing integration will effectively help the subsequent construction of the output of the problems, such as material consumption and environmental integration of the design forecast, can be considered and tested in the early stages of design. This study takes bamboo as the research object, with the maturity of today's material research and manufacturing, so that bamboo has become one of the most important building materials with the characteristics of anti-corrosion, anti-moth, fireproof and earthquake resistance. The early stage of research began with digital manufacturing in a circular economy, and the development of a lightweight and accurate modern bamboo construction system through the possibility of combining natural materials with digital manufacturing. This study is divided into the following three stages : Firstly, by the anti-axis force, bending moment bamboo tube and cut bamboo piece as the material, and to curve bamboo structure geometry and to form-finding the design object, the parametric design of the bamboo structure, and the planning of bamboo structure design and production process, through 1 : 20 physical model production to simulate bamboo structure construction process. Secondly, taking the dimension and geometry of the bamboo structure as the classification, the foundation, structural system, node joints, and surface required for different types of bamboo pavilions are studied separately, and the design objective is set as lightweight, rapid assembly, and selfconstruction, and focus on digital manufacturing and digital stakeout are the main research topics. Finally, in the design of the two bamboo pavilions, two different structural systems of rod assembly and weaving unit were implemented respectively, and the correction and verification on the design and construction are carried out as the further development of bamboo construction prototypes. In the past, the traditional non-standardized bamboo structure must rely on a large amount of manpower and through the experience of the craftsman to complete, this study through the parametric design set up a set of standardized bamboo structure construction processes, with the advantages of parametric modeling to improve construction efficiency and reduce errors from the stakeout on-site, and with the auxiliary bamboo processing devices and methods for pre-grouping, to rethink bamboo materials and bamboo construction on 1 : 1 scale rationality.

Language Typology written by Alice Caffarel and has been published by John Benjamins Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2004 with Language Arts & Disciplines categories.

This book is intended as a systemic functional contribution to language typology both for those who would like to understand and describe particular languages against the background of generalizations about a wide range of languages and also for those who would like to develop typological accounts that are based on and embody descriptions of the systems of particular languages (rather than isolated constructions). The book is a unique contribution in at least two respects. On the one hand, it is the first book based on systemic functional theory that is specifically concerned with language typology. On the other hand, the book combines the particular with the general in the description of languages: it presents comparable sketches of particular languages while at the same time identifying generalizations based on the languages described here as well as on other languages. The volume explores eight languages, covering seven language families: French, German, Pitjantjatjara, Tagalog, Telugu, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese.

A fascinating description of a global language, A Grammar of Mandarin combines broad perspectives with illuminating depth. Crammed with examples from everyday conversations, it aims to let the language speak for itself. The book opens with an overview of the language situation and a thorough account of Mandarin speech sounds. Nine core chapters explore syntactic, morphological and lexical dimensions. A final chapter traces the Chinese character script from oracle-bone inscriptions to today’s digital pens. This work will cater to language learners and linguistic specialists alike. Easy reference is provided by more than eighty tables, figures, appendices, and a glossary. The main text is enriched by sections in finer print, offering further analysis and reflection. Example sentences are fully glossed, translated, and explained from diverse angles, with a keen eye for recent linguistic change. This grammar, in short, reveals a Mandarin language in full swing.
