Burbuja propone una plataforma ideal de lucha revolucionaria y de cambios econmicos, que empieza a desarrollar con xito en toda Colombia. Su meta es formar una nueva generacin, capaz de reemplazar a todos los polticos corruptos; a quienes y aspira, en su etapa final cambiarlos, tomndose el poder y dar comienzo, a una democracia verdaderamente representativa de un pueblo ya culto y preparado. Al mismo tiempo en Yuromanqu, aparece otro personaje, el ferroviario Timbiqu, quien vive un amor tormentoso con una colegiala. Con los deseos de halagarla y ofrecerle una estabilidad econmica, se lanza a crear pequeas industrias que crecen siguiendo las plataformas de Burbuja, llegando a ser tan importantes a nivel nacional, que lo convierten en una persona clave para encubrir las empresas del gobierno y, quien finalmente, lo lleva a desempearse como su testaferro obligado.
