It is not unusual for Continental and Diaspora Africans to feel Confused and Effaced Whenever they read up on the History of Africa and her People. Non Africans tell me that they feel as if they are reading an incomplete story... This Synoptic History of Africa from Creation to date, decodes the Dominions' Denials, Silences and outright Erasures of Africans from their Continent which causes this Effacement and incompleteness. The Book Challenges the Bantuist Migratory Theory, Interrogates the Name of the Continent, Exposes Its People and their Contributions to Civilisation by unveiling the various personalities of Ancient Africa, Iberia, Israel and Arabia at large, as well as the Relationship of these Nations with each other and how they have contributed to Today's African People. The Book further Narrates African Culture, Philosophy and ubuNtu Belief System. Colonialism, its drivers, impact and Legacy on Africa is discussed and South African History is narrated more comprehensively from the 1600s as an example of the evolution of Countries in Africa secondary to this Imperialism. The Author Concludes the book with some suggestions on How Africa can begin to Heal herself, Assert herself in the 4IR and beyond, whilst, Reclaiming her Position amongst the World's Nations as an Equal.

Somalia is generally thought of as a homogenous society, with a common Arabic ancestry, a shared culture of nomadism and one Somali mother tongue. This study challenges this myth. Using the Jareer/Bantu as a case study, the book shows how the Negroid physical features of this ethnic group has become the basis for ethnic marginalization, stigma, social exclusion and apartheid in Somalia. The book is another contribution to the recent deconstruction of the perceived Somali homogeneity and self-same assertions. It argues that the Somalis, just like most societies, employ multiple levels of social and ethnic distinctions, one of which is the Jareer versus Jileec divide. Dr. Eno successfully portrays another Somalia, in which a mythical homogeneity masks the oppression and social exclusion suffered by some ethnic groups in the country.

How Africa Developed Europe written by Mhango, Nkwazi N. and has been published by Langaa RPCIG this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-02-19 with Political Science categories.

Whether Africa is developed or not, depends on how and what one addresses. Development is relative. Nonetheless, the fact is: Africa developed Europe; and thereby became underdeveloped. Addressed academically, the notion of development creates many questions amongst which are: Development in what? Whose development? Development for whom? Who defines development? In this volume, the development dealt with is polygonal; and touches on politico-economic sequels which also affect the social aspect. No doubt. Africa is abundantly rich in terms of resource and culture. Paradoxically, however, Africa is less developed economically compared to Europe thanks to the history of unequal encounters, among other reasons. We cannot emphasise enough the fact that Africa’s underdevelopment is the price of the development of Europe which is based on historical realities gyrating around Europe’s criminal past wherein slavery and colonialism enabled Europe to spawn its future capital and investment. How can anyone quibble about Europe’s development resulting from perpetual plunderage of Africa with impunity committed by European treasure-hunting adventurers? This volume prescribes Africa’s restorative recompense as the only way forward for the duo and the world.
