Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,7, HAWK Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft und Kunst - Fachhochschule Hildesheim, Holzminden, Göttingen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit Erscheinen des Schuldenreports 2006, fand die Überschuldungsproblematik insbesondere privater Haushalte Gehör in weiten Teilen der Gesellschaft und stand einige Wochen im Zentrum des medialen Interesses. Grund hierfür war, die für viele Leute wohl erschreckend hohe Anzahl überschuldeter Privathaushalte in Deutschland. Die Aktualität der Dinge unterstützte mich in meinem Vorhaben, mich intensiver mit dieser Problematik auseinander zu setzen und führte letztendlich zum Entschluss, dies zum Thema meiner Diplomarbeit zu machen. Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit kann nicht als repräsentative Studie betrachtet werden. Es konnten auch nicht all die multiplen Wirkungsweisen von Schuldnerberatung untersucht werden. Dafür reicht der vorgegebene Rahmen einer Diplomarbeit nicht aus. Deshalb wurden die Wirkungsweisen von Schuldnerberatung auf den konkreteren Teilbereich Verbraucherinsolvenzverfahren eingegrenzt. Auch die Fragestellung des empirischen Teils ist nicht auf den gesamten Bereich des Insolvenzverfahrens bezogen, sondern zielt auf eine Bewertung der KlientInnen im Verlauf der Wohlverhaltensperiode ab. Das Verbraucherinsolvenzverfahren und die damit einhergehende Beratung ist wie oben bereits angedeutet, ein Teilbereich von Schuldnerberatung. Somit ist die Wirkung des privaten Insolvenzverfahrens, nach der im empirischen Teil geforscht wird, auch immer als Wirkung von Schuldnerberatung zu verstehen. Wie bereits angedeutet, enthält die Arbeit einen theoretischen und einen empirischen Teil. Nachdem im theoretischen Teil ein Überblick über die aktuelle Überschuldungsproblematik gegeben, das Arbeitsfeld Schuldnerberatung, das Verbraucherinsolvenzverfahren sowie Wirkungen von Schuldnerberatung und Verbraucherinsolvenzverfahren vorgestellt wurden lautet die zentrale Frage im empirischen Teil: Wie beurteilen betroffene SchuldnerInnen die Wirkung des privaten Insolvenzverfahrens während der Wohlverhaltensperiode? Diese Fragestellung kann auch als Hauptforschungsinteresse der gesamten Arbeit bezeichnet werden. Zum Schluss werden die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse und Befunde nochmals aufgegriffen und ein Resümee gezogen sowie ein Ausblick in die Zukunft gegeben.

Vast amounts of data are nowadays collected, stored and processed, in an effort to assist in making a variety of administrative and governmental decisions.
