What is more important than knowing that we are ALL infinite spiritual beings on a human journey to this earthly classroom, rather than being sinful humans on a journey in search of redemption and salvation? Understanding this marked distinction permits us to learn who we truly are at our core, to uncover the nature of our Sacred Journey, and to know without doubt how completely and equally Loved we all are. These tenets are at the heart of this inspiring true story about Jennie, a housewife and mother from the Philadelphia area, who was shaped as a mystical channel by The Great Potter, He Who shapes us all. Spanning almost a half-century, beginning on November 11, 1966, over 1,000 Messages and Lessons were channeled through Jen from Angels, Masters, Lords, and other Sublime sources. In addition, her unique visions and dreams, healings, and psychic and past life readings, were other special Gifts bestowed upon her. This book bears testimony to Jens uncommon life and works, as attested to by the author, who is Jens nephew, godson, and soulmate. Share in Jens amazing spiritual journey, molded as it was by the hands of The Great Potter. More importantly, learn how YOU, as a Seeker, are also being shaped, along the path of your personal Sacred Journey

Helene Fischer is a professional killer who arrives in West Cumbria with instructions to shoot dead 12 people. She has two specific targets, the other ten are chosen at random. Accompanying Helene is Nasseem Ahmed, a computer hacker who is peculiarly averse to the sight of blood. The final shooting takes place at a kart circuit near Rowrah is clearly an example of world class marksmanship. Such precision convinces police that they are dealing with professionals. Henceforth, it all turns into a car-crash in more ways than one as investigations spread out to three different countries. Who has organised the hits? Could it be the high flying financier Sir Robin Coleridge-Smythe, or perhaps Jose Luis Gonzaleze, an American racing car boss? Both have strong links to one of the victims. TV Presenter Fiona Dunne asks some searching questions that eventually lead to a libel trial in the Royal Courts of Justice. However, it is Detective Sergeant Lisa Robb who finally arrives at the answer and her conclusions will shock many readers.

Fantastic Spiritualities written by J'annine Jobling and has been published by A&C Black this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-07-01 with Religion categories.

In this work Jobling argues that religious sensibility in the Western world is in a process of transformation, but that we see here change, not decline, and that the production and consumption of the fantastic in popular culture offers an illuminating window onto spiritual trends and conditions. She examines four major examples of the fantastic genre: the Harry Potter series (Rowling), His Dark Materials (Pullman), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Whedon) and the Earthsea cycle (Le Guin), demonstrating that the spiritual universes of these four iconic examples of the fantastic are actually marked by profoundly modernistic assumptions, raising the question of just how contemporary spiritualities (often deemed postmodern) navigate philosophically the waters of truth, morality, authority, selfhood and the divine. Jobling tackles what she sees as a misplaced disregard for the significance of the fantasy genre as a worthy object for academic investigation by offering a full-length, thematic, comparative and cross-disciplinary study of the four case-studies proposed, chosen because of their significance to the field and because these books have all been posited as exemplars of a 'postmodern' religious sensibility. This work shows how attentiveness to spiritual themes in cultural icons can offer the student of theology and religions insight into the framing of the moral and religious imagination in the late twentieth and twenty-first centuries and how this can prompt traditional religions to reflect on whether their own narratives are culturally framed in a way resonating with the 'signs of the times'.

Potters and Patrons in Edo Period Japan: Takatori Ware and the Kuroda Domain traces the development of one of Japan's best-documented ceramic types, from its beginnings around 1600 until the abolition of the domain system in 1871. Using historical records, archaeological material from early kilns and consumer sites, and the results of comparative chemical analysis, this study explores the operation of Takatori as the official ceramic workshop of the Kuroda, lords of one of the largest domains in Japan. Spanning cultural, aesthetic, economic and practical aspects, this book presents Takatori ware as an ideal archetype with which to compare developments in elite ceramics in other parts of Japan throughout the Edo period. In addition to its scholarly examination of the operation of a domain-sponsored ceramics workshop over more than 250 years, the book includes illustrations of examples from each of the seven Takatori workshop locations, including beautiful pieces that have never before appeared in print.

Dancing The Tao written by Sandra J. Lindow and has been published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-11-15 with Fiction categories.

Dancing the Tao: Le Guin and Moral Development takes an original approach to Ursula K. Le Guin’s work – speculative fiction, poetry and children’s literature – by considering her Taoist upbringing and then looking through the lens of moral development theorists such as Carol Gilligan and Mary Field Belenky, and psychologists such as Lenore Terr and Jennifer J. Freyd. It is the most comprehensive approach to Le Guin’s moral thinking to date. A particular emphasis is put on Le Guin’s depiction of physical and sexual child abuse and its long term aftereffects such as post traumatic stress disorder. The focus throughout the book is on how morality develops through self-awareness and voice, how moral decisions are made and how Le Guin challenges readers to reconsider their own moral thinking. This book covers all of Le Guin’s major works such as The Left Hand of Darkness, The Dispossessed, the Earthsea Series, Always Coming Home, The Telling and Lavinia, and it also looks in depth at work that is rarely discussed such as Le Guin’s early work, her poetry, and her picture books.
