Además de establecer un procedimiento, ya en vigor, para castigar a los obispos cómplices en la ocultación, se ha creado una comisión en el Vaticano para la protección de los menores, de la que forman parte algunas víctimas de abuso sexual, que viene trabajando con verdadera eficacia. Contrasta, sin embargo, la actitud de la conferencia episcopal española, anclada durante mucho tiempo en el pasado y en la idea de que los trapos sucios se lavan en casa. Todavía no ha cumplido el mandato romano de elaborar un procedimiento riguroso para abordar estos graves delitos, verdadero contra testimonio eclesial. En el libro encontrará multitud de observaciones críticas al procedimiento que se sigue en este momento y en el que no aparecen garantizados los derechos de todos los implicados. ¡Una verdadera pena!
