Les médecins généralistes n'ont besoin, en pratique courante, et d'autant plus qu'ils exercent en ville, que de très peu de médicaments d'urgence comme le montre notre enquête qui portait sur un échantillon 39 médecins généralistes - maîtres de stage : 74 % possédaient de l'adrénaline, 52 % de la ceftriaxone et 52 % des bêta-2-mimétiques inhalés, mais l'adrénaline était périmée dans 35 % des cas. Il y a là un gisement important d'amélioration de la qualité des soins. Ce travail propose des procédures de gestion de la liste des médicaments d'urgence afin d'optimiser le temps médical : élaboration commune de la composition de la trousse d'urgence dans les cabinets de groupe ainsi que des protocoles de prise en charge des dofférentes situations d'urgence et surtout de gestion conjointe de cette trousse avec un pharmacien. Ceci s'inscrit dans les nouvelles perspectives de travail en équipe : pôles de santé, maisons de santé pluri-professionnelles, communautés territoriales de professionnels de santé qui permettent l'intégration du temps de gestion de l'outil professionnel dans l'activité de soins.

The novel tells the story, in the first person, of a young black male ex-student's obsession with a young English woman, Veronica Slater, whom he encounters on the segregated Durban beachfront. It is the heyday of apartheid. Although not a word is exchanged, a strong erotic bond develops between the two of them, culminating in what is later seen as a rape and for which the narrator gets the death sentence.
