The information is presented in a similar format to the Mid-2001 Population Estimates published by the NS on 10 October 2002. The Mid-2001 Population Estimates will be based on the results of the 2001 Census, but as they relate to 30 June 2001 they allow for births, deaths and migration between Census Day and the middle of the year.
