The purpose of this book is to present the topic of Chaos Theory and Fractal Geometry to the laymen. As such, this book does not talk down to the reader, nor, does it treat the reader as though they are stupid. I have been told by several reviewers of this book that this book has made the highly abstract and difficult to comprehend arena of mathematics extremely understandable. The reader should note that the computer generated images found within this book were generated via the use of an Artificial Intelligence programming environment called MATHEMATICA. In particular, version 8.2 of Wolfram Research’s MATHEMATICA program that was designed to run on a sixteen processor MACH based UNIX workstation. Consequently, most of the code for the generation of the fractal graphics presented within this book can be gotten upon request. However, for those that don’t have the rather expensive Wolfram Research based MATHEMATICA environment, they can go to YOUTUBE and view a fractamation version of the geometric shapes described in this book. The name of the YOUTUBE based fractal music video is “Mathematical Art-Works Four”.

Being Human is the extraordinary new book that articulates a grand unified vision of reality through the Entheological Paradigm. Skillfully avoiding all speculation and metaphysics, Martin W. Ball, Ph.D., presents a concise explanation for the fundamental nature of reality as the fractal expression of a Unitary Energy Being (God). Ball explores how intentional work with entheogens, such as 5-MeO-DMT, gives individuals direct access to their immediate energetic natures. Through such practices, individuals can liberate themselves from the restrictive confines of their illusion-bound egos and embrace their personalities and bodies as direct expressions of God in physical and conscious form. Radical in its implications, stunning for its simplicity, Being Human is humanity's long-awaited guide to genuine fulfillment, transcendence, and global harmony and peace. If you feel ready to understand and experience the truth for yourself, then Being Human is the only book you will ever need.

Russian Fractals In Indigenous Artifacts written by Abdul Karim Bangura and has been published by Vernon Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2025-06-22 with Art categories.

This book is the first comprehensive work on Russian Fractals in indigenous artifacts. While existing works focus on universal phenomena, such as liquid crystal or finance, none explore the intersection between Fractals and Russia. 'Russian Fractals in Indigenous Artifacts' therefore investigates how indigenous Russian cultures have a wonderful Fractal heritage that was originally tied to socially just and ecologically sustainable social practices, including those of indigenous northern groups such as the Yakut. Fractal designs originally allowed unalienated value, both human and nonhuman, to be visible, thereby enabling just and sustainable living. This book also examines how the tsarist elite encouraged the creation of unique creative masterpieces, developing and strengthening traditional crafts and art of indigenous people—hence, Fabergé, or imperial architecture. Today, the challenge for contemporary Russia is to reestablish the relationship between the social and ecological sustainability of indigenous cultures and practices, for which we can now provide modeling and analysis. Lay attempts at this have only limited success, as they have based the attempts on a purely religious basis, which recognizes the ecological aspects but often succumbs to authoritarian nationalism. However, the freely accession of indigenous peoples to Russia for the sake of national liberation has had a positive effect on enriching them with spirituality and creativity by Fractal artifacts through friendly exchanges with one another. In 'Russian Fractals in Indigenous Artifacts,' Bangura and Zhigun express why there is a need for a forward-thinking Fractal renaissance in Russia, bringing together contemporary computational and scientific analyses with these ecologically and socially sustainable traditions.

Other chapters discuss fractal dimension and interpolation, the Julia sets, parameter spaces, and the Mandelbrot sets. A Short Guide To Brain Imaging written by Richard E. Passingham and has been published by OUP Oxford this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-10-01 with Psychology categories.

Brain imaging has revolutionised the field of Psychology - once more concerned with IQ tests, reaction times and questionnaires. Most Psychology departments now have access to an MRI scanner - some have even renamed themselves as departments of cognitive neuroscience. Yet brain imaging can be a minefield, whichever discipline you approach it from. If you are a psychologist, you will have been taught how to do behavioural experiments, but may know little neuroanatomy or neurophysiology. If you are a neurologist or psychiatrist, then you may know the neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, but not know how to carry out experiments on mental phenomena. This is a practical guide to brain imaging, showing how it can advance a true neuroscience of human cognition. It is accessible to those starting out in imaging, whilst also informative for those who have already acquired some expertise. At the heart of the book are 6 main chapters, focusing on - the signal, experimental methods, anatomy, functional specialisation, functional systems, and other methods. For students and researchers in psychology and neuroscience, this is the essential companion when embarking on brain imaging studies.
