The purpose of this book is to present the topic of Chaos Theory and Fractal Geometry to the laymen. In particular, version 8.2 of Wolfram Research’s MATHEMATICA program that was designed to run on a sixteen processor MACH based UNIX workstation. Consequently, most of the code for the generation of the fractal graphics presented within this book can be gotten upon request. However, for those that don’t have the rather expensive Wolfram Research based MATHEMATICA environment, they can go to YOUTUBE and view a fractamation version of the geometric shapes described in this book. The name of the YOUTUBE based fractal music video is “Mathematical Art-Works Four”.

While existing works focus on universal phenomena, such as liquid crystal or finance, none explore the intersection between Fractals and Russia.
