Her overall outlook now was very bleak and for good reason. During her last court appearance, Susan has a conversation with a friend who isn't actually there. She had her one-sided conversation in front of her husband, the lawyers, the judge, and the world media. The judge became irate and ruled against her in Michael's lawsuit. In a bittersweet moment, Michael felt victorious, but now he must find the answers to the confusing unanswered questions that are lingering and driving him crazy. In order for him to raise his child, he must cut through the lies and find the answers his wife never told him about. And now on his own, he begins the journey of finding the answers that tore his world apart.

Anyone watching can see in these latter days that our world is in turmoil. We can see his influence in the hatred and cruelty of terrorism and the inhumane treatment by certain sects or groups, even religious ones, upon thousands and even millions of innocent people who just want to live peaceably, having their family members maimed, tortured, and even killed, seemingly just for sport. We see armies of religious factions that are recruiting and growing enormously with the express goal to annihilate and eradicate anyone or group that doesnt agree with their particular worship or lifestyle. Add this to the extreme climate changes, tsunamis, storms, earthquakes, global warming, etc., and we can see that our lives and our future are more than uncertain. The Bible asks the question in James 4:1: Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? The answer to this dilemma lies within the truth of God. Jesus stated in John 8:32: You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Herein is the reason for this book. Wherever you find yourself in these last days, please know it is virtually impossible to know the truth and not be free.

Many years ago when I became a Christian, I was like many people who did not really know God as he is-a loving and gracious father. When my family and I moved to Kansas and then to Oklahoma, it was right in the midst of the Charismatic Renewal. It was at the point in my life I began to see God in a totally different way. I did not realize that he loved me, Jan Duval. I certainly did not know that he wanted to talk to me personally! As I studied the scriptures and learned more and more about Jesus and his relationship with his father and understood that the Father wanted a similar relationship with me, I was over the moon! Each morning, I could hardly wait for my family to leave for the day so that I could have my time of fellowship with God. It was during these times that I began to write the things I felt God was telling me. I love how tenderly and patiently Father God teaches profound, amusing, and down-to-earth life lessons from everyday events. God is amazing! I hope these writings will encourage, inspire, and add some humor to the reader.
