This trained killer not only brings violence and death with his presence, but also brings an emotional closeness to a special woman, that only gets stronger as the stories progress. This, coupled with an unexpected sense of humor, makes for fast-paced and action-packed reading.

José Angel Gutiérrez is the firebrand civil rights leader of the 1960s and 70s who succeeded in making a minority-based political party a reality in Texas and various other states.
