Many Body Problems And Quantum Field Theory written by Philippe Andre Martin and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-04-17 with Science categories.
Many-Body Problems and Quantum Field Theory introduces the concepts and methods of the topics on a level suitable for graduate students and researchers. The formalism is developed in close conjunction with the description of a number of physical systems: cohesion and dielectric properties of the electron gas, superconductivity, superfluidity, nuclear matter and nucleon pairing, matter and radiation, interaction of fields by particle exchange and mass generation. Emphasis is placed on analogies between the various systems rather than on advanced or specialized aspects, with the purpose of illustrating common ideas within different domains of physics. Starting from a basic knowledge of quantum mechanics and classical electromagnetism, the exposition is self-contained and explicitly details all steps of the derivations. The new edition features a subtantially new treatment of nucleon pairing.

Feynman Diagram Techniques In Condensed Matter Physics written by Radi A. Jishi and has been published by Cambridge University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-04-25 with Science categories.
A concise introduction to Feynman diagram techniques, this book shows how they can be applied to the analysis of complex many-particle systems, and offers a review of the essential elements of quantum mechanics, solid state physics and statistical mechanics. Alongside a detailed account of the method of second quantization, the book covers topics such as Green's and correlation functions, diagrammatic techniques and superconductivity, and contains several case studies. Some background knowledge in quantum mechanics, solid state physics and mathematical methods of physics is assumed. Detailed derivations of formulas and in-depth examples and chapter exercises from various areas of condensed matter physics make this a valuable resource for both researchers and advanced undergraduate students in condensed matter theory, many-body physics and electrical engineering. Solutions to exercises are available online.

Generalized Dyson Series Generalized Feynman Diagrams The Feynman Integral And Feynman S Operational Calculus written by Gerald W. Johnson and has been published by American Mathematical Soc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1986 with Mathematics categories.
The basic purpose of the paper is to construct, for the indicated integrals, series expansions in terms of finite multiple integrals of increasing multiplicity ("generalized Dyson series''). The authors study in detail the character of these expansions in the case when the measure [lowercase Greek]Eta = [lowercase Greek]Mu + [lowercase Greek]Nu contains, in addition to a continuous part [lowercase Greek]Mu, a discrete part [lowercase Greek]Nu as well. Using generalized Feynman diagrams they give a graphical description of the expansions obtained; they also describe the Banach algebra generated by the functionals under consideration and establish connections with Feynman's operational calculus.

Springer Handbook Of Atomic Molecular And Optical Physics written by Gordon W. F. Drake and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-02-09 with Science categories.
Comprises a comprehensive reference source that unifies the entire fields of atomic molecular and optical (AMO) physics, assembling the principal ideas, techniques and results of the field. 92 chapters written by about 120 authors present the principal ideas, techniques and results of the field, together with a guide to the primary research literature (carefully edited to ensure a uniform coverage and style, with extensive cross-references). Along with a summary of key ideas, techniques, and results, many chapters offer diagrams of apparatus, graphs, and tables of data. From atomic spectroscopy to applications in comets, one finds contributions from over 100 authors, all leaders in their respective disciplines. Substantially updated and expanded since the original 1996 edition, it now contains several entirely new chapters covering current areas of great research interest that barely existed in 1996, such as Bose-Einstein condensation, quantum information, and cosmological variations of the fundamental constants. A fully-searchable CD- ROM version of the contents accompanies the handbook.

Handbook Of Optoelectronic Device Modeling And Simulation written by Joachim Piprek and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-10-10 with Science categories.
Optoelectronic devices are now ubiquitous in our daily lives, from light emitting diodes (LEDs) in many household appliances to solar cells for energy. This handbook shows how we can probe the underlying and highly complex physical processes using modern mathematical models and numerical simulation for optoelectronic device design, analysis, and performance optimization. It reflects the wide availability of powerful computers and advanced commercial software, which have opened the door for non-specialists to perform sophisticated modeling and simulation tasks. The chapters comprise the know-how of more than a hundred experts from all over the world. The handbook is an ideal starting point for beginners but also gives experienced researchers the opportunity to renew and broaden their knowledge in this expanding field.

The aim of this book is to make accessible to mathematicians, physicists and other scientists interested in qunatum theory, the beautiful but mathematically difficult subjects of the Feynman integral and Feynman's operational calculus. Some advantages of the approaches to the Feynman integral which are treated in detail in this book are the following: the existence of the Feynman integral is established for very general potentials in all four cases; under more restrictive but still broad conditions, three of these Feynman integrals agree with one another and with the unitary group from the usual approach to quantum dynamics; these same three Feynman integrals possess pleasant stability properties. Much of the material covered here was previously available only in the research literature, and the book also contains some new results. The background material in mathematics and physics that motivates the study of the Feynman integral and Feynman's operational calculus is discussed, and detailed proofs are provided for the central results.

Through the previous three editions, Handbook of Differential Equations has proven an invaluable reference for anyone working within the field of mathematics, including academics, students, scientists, and professional engineers. The book is a compilation of methods for solving and approximating differential equations. These include the most widely applicable methods for solving and approximating differential equations, as well as numerous methods. Topics include methods for ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, stochastic differential equations, and systems of such equations. Included for nearly every method are: The types of equations to which the method is applicable The idea behind the method The procedure for carrying out the method At least one simple example of the method Any cautions that should be exercised Notes for more advanced users The fourth edition includes corrections, many supplied by readers, as well as many new methods and techniques. These new and corrected entries make necessary improvements in this edition.
