Written for those curious about Lovecraft and his work, this illustrated guide presents detailed descriptions of twenty-nine of the monsters, creatures, and gods that inhabit Lovecraft's macabre fictional universe, without any spoilers that could ruin a future read of his stories. This is #1 in Arcane Wisdom's new Modern Mythos Series. Each title is hand picked and edited by Lovecraftian Scholar S. T. Joshi and award winning editor Larry L. Roberts as well as distributed by the dark fiction publisher, DarkFuse. Having fled town under a cloud of salacious scandal, Shelby Tyree has returned, a mysterious woman at his side and a strange new devotion to horror writer H.P. Lovecraft in his head. His childhood friends Rick and Conrad scarcely recognize Shelby, who has been transformed from a rakish dilettante into a zealous guru devoted to his own pseudo-religion. They take it upon themselves to discover what Shelby is really up to. Why has he founded his own church, devoted to a presumably fictional demonic alien? Is it possible Shelby's lost his grip on reality or is somehow under the spell of this mysterious woman? Or is it possible that Shelby has uncovered some secret truths that man was not meant to know? Cthulhu Cult is a brilliant and scintillating novel of Lovecraftian terror. It grips the reader from the first page and develops a tremendous cumulative power "Anyone who has the least interest in H. P. Lovecraft's work will find The Cthulhu Cult a must-read." -S. T. Joshi

The Cult of Cthulhu shall never die. Its untenable spirit, unearthly and ichorous, is spreading far and wide through the Matrix-esque reality program that we are immersed in. As you read these words, try to wake up from the illusions surrounding you. This book is our manifesto, our truth, our bible! Cthulhu Cult is the integration of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, Satanism, Chaos Magic, the Fourth Way, and other Left Hand Path traditions. It is also the fruition of my special plan: to see this world's flaws, to understand why they exist, and then finally. to overcome them! Years ago, I knew that humanity was on the wrong track, and this horrid green tome corrects the mistake of man... before us rushes a new flood of reason. When the Old Ones return, this world shall drown before Their might.

This carefully crafted ebook: "THE CALL OF CTHULHU (Horror Classic)" is formatted for your eReader with a functional and detailed table of contents. The Call of Cthulhu is one of Lovecraft's best-known works. It is the only story written by Lovecraft in which the extraterrestrial entity Cthulhu himself makes a major appearance. Narrator Francis Wayland Thurston, recounts his discovery of the strange notes left behind by his granduncle, George Gammell Angell, a prominent Professor of Semitic languages at Brown University. At first the story revolves around a small bas-relief sculpture found among the papers, which the narrator describes: "My somewhat extravagant imagination yielded simultaneous pictures of an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature.... A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque and scaly body with rudimentary wings". The sculpture is the work of Henry Anthony Wilcox, a student at the Rhode Island School of Design who based the work on delirious dreams of "great Cyclopean cities of titan blocks and sky-flung monoliths, all dripping with green ooze and sinister with latent horror". Frequent references to Cthulhu and R'lyeh are found in papers authored by Wilcox. Angell also discovers reports of "outre mental illnesses and outbreaks of group folly or mania" around the world (in New York City, "hysterical Levantines" mob police; in California, a Theosophist colony dons white robes to await a "glorious fulfillment")... Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890-1937) was an American author who achieved posthumous fame through his influential works of horror fiction. He is now regarded as one of the most significant 20th-century authors in his genre. Some of Lovecraft's work was inspired by his own nightmares. His interest started from his childhood days when his grandfather would tell him Gothic horror stories.

What if a book existed that gave answers to everything you've ever wondered about? What would you do to learn its secrets? Tales of such books have abounded for millennia and are legend in occult history. One of the most pervasive modern iterations is that of the Necronomicon, said to be a genuine occult text from the 8th century. The Necronomicon really is the creation of science fiction writer H.P. Lovecraft (1891-1937), in whose books the magic volume first appears in print. In The Necronomicon Files two occult authorities explore all aspects of The Necronomicon, from its first appearance in Lovecraft's fiction to its ongoing pervasive appearance in cult and occult circles. The Necronomicon Files, revised and expanded further, reveals the hoax of the Necronomicon. Harms and Gonce show that the apocryphal history of the Necronomicon was concocted by Lovecraft to lend it verisimilitude in his fiction. The magical text was transformed into an icon among Lovecraft's literary circle, who added to the book's legend by referring to it in their own writing. People became convinced that it was a real book and its references in literature and film continue to grow. The book also examines what people have undergone to find the Necronomicon and the cottage industry that has arisen over the past three decades to supply the continuing demand for a book that does not exist. Scholarly yet accessible, humorous and intriguing, The Necronomicon Files illuminates the depth of the creative process and the transformations of modern myth, while still managing to preserve much of the romance and fascination that surrounds the Necronomicon in our culture.

Book of Cthulhu is book #3 in the Dark Lords' "Multiversal Metaphysics & Sorcery" series. This is our study of the "Cthulhu Cult"-the metaphysics, mythos, philosophy, psychology, history, structure, sorcery, religion, literature and language of the Cult that will never die. It is the definitive reference for anyone would like to know more about the Cult's gods, sorcerous rituals, religious rites, esoteric agenda, R'lyehian language, core literature, or who wants to create their own Cultic coven. This volume also contains five key stories of Lovecraft's Mythos-"The Call of Cthulhu", "The Dunwich Horror", "The Whisperer in Darkness", "The Dreams in the Witch-House", and "The Haunter of the Dark". With this publication, the Dark Lords are opening yet another gateway to the Outside through which the inspired seeker may find a path to Black Gnosis and Endarkenment. In these latter days of the present world, as the ranks of the Called grow steadily and the day of Return draws near, we offer this book as another blow against the idols of this age, and a call to embrace the idols of the next one: great Cthulhu, Yog-Sothoth, Azathoth, Nyarlathotep, Shub-Niggurath and the other Old Ones, who are beckoning us in dreams to the great holocaust of ecstasy and freedom to come. As we say in the R'lyehian tongue: Iä! Iä! Cthulhu fhtagn!

Modern practicing occultists have argued that renowned horror writer H. P. Lovecraft was in possession of in-depth knowledge of black magick. Literary scholars claim that he was a master of his genre and craft, and his findings are purely psychological, nothing more. Was Lovecraft a practitioner of the dark arts himself? Was he privileged to knowledge that cannot be otherwise explained? Weaving the life story of Lovecraft in and out of an analysis of various modern magickal systems, scholar John Steadman has found direct and concrete examples that demonstrate that Lovecraft’s works and specifically his Cthulhu Mythos and his creation of the Necronomicon are a legitimate basis for a working magickal system. Whether you believe Lovecraft had supernatural powers or not, no one can argue against Lovecraft’s profound influence on many modern black arts and the darker currents of western occultism.
