I am qualified to write this book since I have seventeen years of teaching and counseling I had a B.A. in History and Government. A Masters. In Sociology, A Masters in Education Counseling and Guidance. I also ran a dog kennel for twenty years at Kidder. I had five employees and made One Million dollars the year that I decided to sell the kennel and go back into counseling. My husband was ill and the market was still good for selling dogs. My degrees all came from the University of Missouri at K.C. I was a scholarship student and a University fellow. All my tuition was paid by the University and Scholarships. I took two courses in Forensic Science and Criminology from Wentworth College in Missouri after I retired before I took a job at the prison teaching GED programs at the prison in Cameron Missouri. I have a rapport with most people, children and adults from all walks of life. I live in a rural area in Kidder Missouri. I am not ready to give the book a title. I was born in the depression and moved into the space and technicality age. I believe that after I was born a higher being set the course of my life so I could be helpful to individuals that I met and worked with. I am still thinking on this.

Long before humans wrote, we painted. From mud and ash to acrylic and computers, artists across the centuries have found countless inventive ways to explore and express some of life’s biggest mysteries. Enter space art, a genre of artistic expression that strives to capture the wonders of our universe. This lavishly illustrated book chronicles the remarkable development of space art from a fledgling theme to a modern movement. In Part I, we traverse the history of art and astronomy from ancient times, through the Industrial Revolution, and into the 20th-century Space Age. Part II delves into the diverse techniques and subgenres of space art, where you will learn about things like rocks and balls, hardware art, and cosmic expressionism. Along the way, we’ll stop at places where neither humans nor spacecraft can easily go, from the scorching surface of Venus and the radiation-soaked volcanoes of Io to the alien terrain of exoplanets and the depths of distant galaxies. Featuring hundreds of original color images from space artists and astronomers alike, this book is a vivid visual story about the power of art, astronomy, and human curiosity. A heavily revised edition of the original Beauty of Space, it will entertain, educate, and inspire anybody who yearns to make sense of the strange and surreal sights in our universe.

A Journey in Time is a nostalgic journey into the lives of a Burmese family during a period of intense political strife and turmoil. Since Burma lost its royalty and independence after the Anglo Burmese Wars in 1886, the fight for freedom never really ceased for its people. Burmese Nationalists, like Bogyoke Aung San, seize the opportunity to regain independence with the Japanese invasion of British Burma during World War II. Nonetheless, an oasis of peace is enjoyed by its people with the establishment of the rule of law in the country. Burma enters the world stage as the biggest exporter of rice, and its rich resources are developed on an unprecedented scale. Journey in Time chronicles this period in the lives of the Myaing family and their friends as it highlights the fascinating cultural and personal details that make them unique and interesting. Author Wai Wai Myaing confidently brings her loved ones to life as she describes their simple joys, aspirations, the worries that beset them, and the gentle Buddhist religion that guides them through their lives with dignity and grace.

Einstein S Unfinished Symphony written by Marcia Bartusiak and has been published by Yale University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-01-01 with Science categories.

A new generation of observatories, now being completed worldwide, will give astronomers not just a new window on the cosmos but a whole new sense with which to explore and experience the heavens above us. Instead of collecting light waves or radio waves, these novel instruments will allow astronomers to at last place their hands upon the fabric of space-time and feel the very rhythms of the universe. These vibrations in space-time-or gravity waves-are the last prediction of Einstein's general theory of relativity yet to be observed directly. They are his unfinished symphony, waiting nearly a century to be heard. When they finally reveal themselves to astronomers, we will for the first time be able to hear the cymbal crashes from exploding stars, tune in to the periodic drumbeats from swiftly rotating pulsars, listen to the extended chirps from the merger of two black holes, and eavesdrop on the remnant echoes from the mighty jolt of the Big Bang itself. When Einstein introduced general relativity in 1915, it was hailed as a momentous conceptual achievement. Einstein attained celebrity status. But, once scientists verified what they could of the theory, given the scant experiments available at the time, general relativity became "largely a theoretical curiosity," writes Marcia Bartusiak. Now, after decades of technological advancement, general relativity is being tested with unprecedented accuracy. It even affects our everyday lives. Satellites used by both travelers and soldiers to peg their positions require constant corrections of Einsteinian precision. Meanwhile, the first gravity-wave "telescopes"--Including the LIGO facility-are about to come alive.

Statistical Orbit Determination presents fundmentals of orbit determination--from weighted least squares approaches (Gauss) to today's high-speed computer algorithms that provide accuracy within a few centimeters. Numerous examples and problems are provided to enhance readers' understanding of the material. Covers such topics as coordinate and time systems, square root filters, process noise techniques, and the use of fictitious parameters for absorbing un-modeled and incorrectly modeled forces acting on a satellite. Examples and exercises serve to illustrate the principles throughout each chapter.
