“In this book, Marcellino D’Ambrosio has painted a rich picture that brings Jesus and his world to life. Clear, concise, and compelling, Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life is a must-read for every Catholic.” – Edward Sri Jesus: The Way, the Truth, and the Life by Marcellino D’Ambrosio is an ebook that stands alone but also accompanies the 10-week video study program presented by Marcellino D’Ambrosio, Jeff Cavins, and Edward Sri. In this book, Catholics walk step by step with Jesus from his infancy to the Ascension. Anchored in the life of Christ as presented in the Gospels, it explores the entirety of Jesus’ life—who he is, what he is really like, what he taught, what he did for our salvation, and what this means for us as Catholics today. This study shows, in a simple way, how Jesus, the Incarnate God, is both fully divine and fully human—his intimacy with the Father, his revelation of the Father’s love, and his extraordinary influence on his disciples, his followers, and even his enemies. Most importantly, this encounter with Christ will inspire and empower you to center your entire life in him as you come to know and love him in an ever-deeper and more intimate way. In this book, Catholics will learn... Who Jesus is and how he answers the longings of the human heart. Why Jesus was baptized. The significance of the Transfiguration. The essentials of Christology explained in a way the average Catholic can understand. The mystery and meaning of the Resurrection, Christ’s triumph over death. The nature of Jesus’ mission and the redemption of humanity. Our role today as Catholics in the Great Commission. Paperback, 280 pages Nihil obstat: Rev. Robert A. A Journey through the Catechism: Unveiling the Truth, Beauty, and Goodness of the Catholic Faith is the comprehensive resource for Catholics who want to be better informed about their faith. Building on Michael Pennock’s longtime bestseller This Is Our Faith: A Catholic Catechism for Adults, this companion to the Catechism of the Catholic Church retains the favorite question-and-answer format combined with Fr. Daniel J. Mahan’s pastoral and open-minded approach. Fr. Mahan, director of the USCCB’s new Institute on the Catechism, provides concrete answers to questions about God, faith, and the Catholic Church that many people wonder about. He does not shy away from the more challenging questions; when an answer seems difficult, he offers practical advice with compassion and encouragement. Organized around the four pillars of the Catechism—creed, sacraments, Christian life, and prayer—A Journey through the Catechism uses personal reflections, sound reasoning, and practical examples in a question-and-answer format to teach how Catholics: profess their faith worship live their lives in society pray “You were born for much more than you can imagine. You are meant for God. You are meant to live with God and enjoy great happiness,” says Fr. Mahan. “By picking up this book, you have taken the first step to discover or deepen your connection to God and to delve more deeply into the great mystery of your relationship with Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. This book is intended to guide you along this journey. Be assured as you read this book that you are loved by God and God has a plan for you.” Accompanied by enriching videos featuring Fr. Mahan as well as captivating pull-out features including maps, photo essays, and graphic organizers, this book offers an immersive learning experience. Furthermore, a free, online comprehensive guide to the Lectionary connects questions from the book to themes in the Sunday readings for all three cycles and holy days, making it a perfect resource for homilists. Also included in the Lectionary guide are discussion questions that connect the themes of the Sunday readings to topics in the book, making them ideal for discussion at both Sunday dismissal sessions and further catechetical sessions during the week. Whether you’re a new convert, returning to the faith, or a seasoned Catholic, A Journey through the Catechism will lead you to discover the truth, beauty, and goodness that lie at the heart of Catholicism.

The essence of this book is to show how the town that William lives in, got him sectioned in 1989, simply for writing a couple of harmless letters. He asserts that when a female Muslim constituent stabbed her political representative in London, she was never given such draconian treatment, nor afforded any respect whatsoever when he was a well educated graduate. He goes on to add that continually hassled by a local criminal and his associates, something that he did everything humanly possible to avoid, by contacting doctors, social workers, the police, the chief executive of the council, he was one day seriously assaulted. An attempt at murder of to maim. The town stood by as he became ill, as he could not comprehend how someone who assaulted him could not be viewed as a danger to himself and to others. The police stood by, and amazingly those very same police officers were involved in his demise in 1997 for more draconian treatment. He adds that if he had not been ILLEGALLY removed in1989, he would never have suffered again in 1997, as the sheer awesome terror he suffered by brutal psychiatric staff, left him so fearful of standing up for himself, that he was unable to defend himself later in life. His psyche simply collapsed from the sheer terror of it all. Americans may like to know also how he, as a science graduate was denied lucrative employment in 1992 in a then booming world of computers. Politicians state that people need to get educated. William is living proof of just how the system works. He has been deprived of every freedom commensurate with the west, such as sex, children, cars, and the right to own your own home. The book spells it out as it is in 1984 Britain today, where accommodation is racketed. And for those that know nobody, get left to rot.
