I have been writing since I was 13 years old. It started for me as a means to express my thoughts, while at the same time being able to keep my thoughts to myself. For me, writing is something that must come through inspiration. It takes me to a place outside of myself. At any point in time, a thought, an idea or even a single word comes to mind and the poetry envelopes itself around it. The concept may take a minute to create, or it could take an hour or moreit all depends upon how strong the thought or the idea may be. A force so strong within me says write, and so I write. Then, the work takes on a life all its own. Twenty years ago, I looked ahead and I saw an entirely different future for me. It is truly surreal to me--because I was looking at my situation at a different in my life and I could not see beyond those circumstances. This book is intended to inspire others to trust in a power beyond the realms of what they may see at the moment because they are not looking at an accurate picture of their future. Dare to dream--to believe that all things are possible to them that believe--to believe in themselvesnot because of, but in spite of circumstances--to view different perspectives. No one knows what the future holds for them. They can only imagine. I encourage you to find that inner spirit then trust that higher power, dare to dream and believe it will come to fruition. Ten years ago I set out on a Spiritual Journey. Through the years I have lost friends, both my father and stepfather, and my favorite aunt, and most of all bad attitudes. Through it all I held on to Gods hand, and He continued to show me that with him I can truly conquer all things including the feat of becoming a whole woman. I learned that I am not defined by others, but I am defined by my love of self, others, and God. As a single mother and child of God I have endured many obstacles in my journey into self actualization and spiritual wholeness. Many times I would pray and ask the Lord why do I have to endure the pain and heartache that I am going through. God let me know that my pain was not in vain and that I needed to write down all the conflicts that I go through as a mother a single woman, and a child of God. These poems and words of wisdom are about how I as a Christian woman have endured trials, and how God has made me victorious over every obstacle in my life. I pray that my ability to be open and honest about my love for God, my love for myself, and my love for people as a whole will help someone who feels lost or confused about how to have peace and fulfillment in your journey with Christ. I was led to name my first book Spirit Train after the revelation that we are all on a Spiritual Journey to attain wholeness, and our souls are liken to a train. We will come to destinations in our life in which we will have to unload or allow some things to depart from our souls, and minds, and in return we will allow Gods attributes to come aboard and give us the spiritual, and self fulfillment that we so desire to attain. I give biblical reference to every poem I write I order or you to meditate not only on the poetry, but on the word of God that inspired the poetry. I have left extra space after each thought of the day in order for you to write down your own thoughts, and do some self exploration. I challenge you to take the Spirit Train, find out the will of God for your life, and move forward infaith, becoming the fulfilled, loving person that God already sees you as. Be blessed for these words are from my heart and they are inspired by the Heavenly Father above.

The first words that YAHUSHUA spoke after the resurrection according to John 20:19 were, Shalom or Peace be unto you. YAHUSHUA said, "...Shalom...." He was making a statement of fact, and the ambiance in the room changed. Why did YAHUSHUA choose these words to speak? The disciples were in fear of the religious leaders; however, once they saw Him, they knew the "peace," the "shalom" that he had just proclaimed was stronger than their fear. "Peace" must be essential because it was the first thing YAHUSHUA said after rising from the dead. Similarly, YAHUSHUA commanded "peace" to the storm on the Sea of Galilee, and it was peace He spoke to His disciples in that room. In Hebrew, the word " Peace" is "Shalom," an absence of chaos or war; it is completeness, tranquility. YAHUSHUA displayed the meaning of peace when he commanded the winds and the waves to obey Him. In Mark 4:39, it reads, " And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm." It is precisely what happened in the upper room when YAHUSHUA appeared amid his disciples. He told His disciples to be calm; stop all the fear and chaos. Be at peace. The word "Shalom" is used for "Peace" 209 times in the Scriptures, and when it is used, it is used in terms of removing fear. Paul understood "shalom," when he wrote to the temple in Rome. Romans 10:15 reads, "And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace....” In Matthew 5:9, YAHUSHUA says, "Blessed are the for they shall be called the children of ELOHIM." The "peace" that YAHUSHUA came to provide for us is not a "peace" that this world can have because the world is in darkness. YAHUSHUA said it like this, in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." YAHUSHUA is telling us that HaShatan will try to arouse us with the cares of this world, but do not let the fear that we will go through deter us. Zechariah, prophesied YAHUSHUA would bring light into darkness and provide a way to guide our feet into the way of peace. Look at how Paul describes it in Ephesians 6:15, here he is talking about the armor of ELOHIM; it reads, "And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace." To put it another way, walk in the way of peace. Walk in the peace of ELOHIM. Bring to mind John 14:27; it said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Also, in Matthew 10:13, it reads, "And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you." Isaiah 26:3 tells us, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee..." If our mind is stayed on ELOHIM because we trust in ELOHIM, the "peace" of ELOHIM is the "peace" that passes all understanding. As we gain knowledge and understanding of "peace," we will discover why YAHUSHUA said in Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the for they shall be called the children of ELOHIM." Having "peace" in a world that is not His, walking in "shalom," and in the fruits of the Spirit, should be our ultimate goal. Throughout the Bible, we are encouraged to have "peace."
