I value each and every smile from my children, try to spread compassion and love around like sprinkles. Treat each and every day as a genuine gift from God. I experienced what it felt like to be at death's doorstep. It was extremely lonely and scary. No amount of money or power could change my predicament. I remember lying in my hospital bed at night praying to God with all my might. "God if I make it through this nightmare, I promise to love and cherish every second with my children. I will be patient and kind. I will cherish every breath I get to take on Earth." Well, I tried. I have come to realize I am far from being a perfect mom, wife, daughter and Christian. To this day I still make mistakes and say things I wish hadn't. I continue to fight and strive to be the very best version of me I can possibly be. I am sharing my story of overcoming horrible odds with the hopes of passing on encouragement, faith and love for our Almighty God. It was my Faith and God's Will that brought me through these past four years. I hope my story encourages you to never give up when you are faced with a personal battle.
